If Bamboo is a grass, are the seeds grains? I see from the text that they are infrequently available, but that pests like them -- are they edible by humans, and if so, are they palatable? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 108.202.33.17 (talk) 05:39, 23 October 2021 (UTC)Reply

So I was just reading the article and found an image of a giant panda eating bamboo that was covering up part of the text at the beginning of the "Cultivation" section. Any idea what is going on? TypoEater (talk) 15:27, 3 May 2023 (UTC)Reply

I dont understand, why bamboo is a subfamily within grass family, rather than a family in their own right?
I initially thought the bamboo was an independent family. When i see this wikipedia page for the first time, it turned out to be subfamily within poaceae family.
I cannot explain the reason to place bamboo as a subfamily.
By the way what is the proposed bamboo name as a family?
The word bambusoideae makes me irritating like minding a kitten, but sorry this is my petty joke.
This is pretty irritating that the bamboo should not be subfamily within grass family, but a family of its own right.
So i hope someone can understand this situation.
