Anthony King (professor) → Anthony King (political scientist) – "Professor" is a very broad term, a description of his job rather than of what he did in his job, and therefore not quite the "recognizable and highly applicable term" that the naming conventions recommend. There also is at least one other professor named Anthony King whom I'd consider notable, urban theorist Anthony D. King (see, for example, this), though there's currently no need for distinguishing these two. Axolotl Nr.733 (talk) 17:59, 30 March 2017 (UTC)
- Support more recognizable. In ictu oculi (talk) 21:16, 30 March 2017 (UTC)
- Support. "Professor" and "academic" are horrible disambiguators. We should always use their actual speciality. -- Necrothesp (talk) 15:05, 5 April 2017 (UTC)
