'Permission'? Better explanation needed

edit

In the article, it says 'They first appeared on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, where the girls created confusion, because they kissed each other without first having been granted permission to do so'. An explanation is needed because no one needs no one's permission to kiss no one. Why did they need permission, were they underage when they performed on the show? There is too little info in the article currently to understand this bit of information. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 89.111.226.34 (talk) 22:30, 13 July 2019 (UTC)Reply

The original Russian version was written by Elena Kiper. A Russian songwriter/singer. The English version was drafted by Trevor Horn. --Talyubittu 05:32, 19 November 2006 (UTC)Reply

I have removed the lyrics, as it is a possible copyvio. If anyone knows about the Wikipedia politics about lyrics, please give a hand :-) I will see what I can find about this. -- ReyBrujo 06:15, 23 April 2006 (UTC)Reply

Speaking of the lyrics, does anybody know who wrote them (or possibly translated them from Russian)? I'd like to expand the bulk of this article at a later date. Never Mystic 23:25, 8 September 2006 (UTC)Reply
The lyrics aren't a translation, but a completely different composition. The only resemblance between them is the theme of going insane, but for very different reasons: in the translated lyric, it's trying to pretend or forget the infatuation which is driving the narrator crazy; in the original, it's the infatuation itself which is the sign of madness. There's even a line which mentions conversion therapy! (А они говорят надо срочно лечить: That an immediate treatment is necessary)

Is it worth mentioning that

The song is explicit? The third stanza uses the line I'm in serious shit, I feel totally lost --Launchballer (talk) 12:31, 18 August 2009 (UTC)Reply

Oh boo hoo, "explicit" god damn I can't stand american attitudes sometimes... (I'm willing to bet my weekly wage of £1400 that you're an American) Deny it. Go on. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 86.178.238.79 (talk) 11:47, 4 September 2011 (UTC)Reply

This page is a duplicate

I found this page by googling "All the things she said" but the article on this page: http://en.wiki.x.io/wiki/All_the_things_she_said which you arrive at by searching for the same words is much better written and sourced and more comprehensive. May I suggest deleting this one? CatCrofts (talk) 14:24, 6 November 2011 (UTC)Reply

Merge proposal

The result of this discussion was to merge. Chhandama (talk) 04:33, 25 February 2018 (UTC)Reply

I've never understood the point in having 2 articles for 1 song .... so as per WP:NSONGS I propose merging:

30 Minut was yesterday merged with 30 Minutes so it makes sense to continue with the rest,
I've added the various talkpage notifications and articles,
Pinging: Richhoncho, Thatkitten, Chhandama who !voted in the last merge,
Thanks, –Davey2010Talk 12:48, 19 November 2017 (UTC)Reply

Agreed. Per WP:NSONGS merge them, it is the normal stance that WP takes, if there objections, they will need to be clearly stated with reasons that have legs. "I don't like it" isn't good enough. --Richhoncho (talk) 13:21, 19 November 2017 (UTC)Reply
Merge. I fully support Richhoncho—merge all duplicated songs. Chhandama (talk) 03:04, 20 November 2017 (UTC)Reply
