==climate in Germany==
"In the 1930s, the climate in Germany became too unfriendly for Rüstow" is vague, In 1933 he should become the minister of economic in the planned goverment of general Schleicher see =%22Alexander+R%C3%BCstow%22+schleicher&hl=de&as_brr=0 here. (For this link you need a google-account- it is free). In March 1933 during a journey to Switzerland the SS made a raid in his house at Berlin. They took a box with paper notices and the label "SS" away, which was an abbreviation for "Selige Sehnsucht" a poem of Johann Wolfgang von Goethe. In Switzerland he was alarmed not to return to Germany. His first intention was to go the United States, but had no chance, so he got an offer to go to Istanbul. -- Jlorenz102:44, 22 March 2007 (UTC) or de:Benutzer:jlorenz1@web.deReply
In German:"In the 1930s, the climate in Germany became too unfriendly for Rüstow" ist etwas zu vage. -- Jlorenz102:51, 22 March 2007 (UTC)Reply
