editSome person keeps removing sourced information that is not positive for Mr. Adrian M. Smith. Please refer to the History page of this article to see what is happening. Apparently, someone does not want Wikipedia readers to know where Mr. Smith got the money to run for office. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.246.118.224 (talk) 22:47, 14 August 2007 (UTC)
- Judging by the edit pattern, it's quite likely that the following user accounts have been created by the same person:
- User:Tgrass79 (active early November 2007)
- User:Zzterry (active mid August 2007)
- User:Socrateaseze (active late May/early June 2007)
- User:1976revolution (active early April 2007)
- In addition, the edit pattern of those four user accounts match that of a single edit made by Special:Contributions/143.231.249.141 (a House IP address) in late March 2007. It appears that there has been a long-term effort to remove information about Smith's campaign contributors. – Swid (talk · edits) 02:17, 7 November 2007 (UTC)
- Too bad that IP is dynamically assigned ... would be a little bit easier to trace. And the edits are spaced too far apart to request semi-protection. If this staffer creates another sock and tries this again, though, I'd go for semi-protection. Blueboy96 13:57, 7 November 2007 (UTC)
notability of smith watch block section
editI question the notability of the Smith Watch section. It turned out to be a problem affecting 36 congressmen and every blogspot site. The only thing Smith Watch had to do with it is notice the problem (which has now been fixed) which has little to do with Adrian Smith. Alienmercy 20:49, 6 November 2007 (UTC)

- Does anyone think there's enough for a GovTrends article--there's definitely a WikiNews story here, but I wonder if there's an article in this. Blueboy96 23:24, 6 November 2007 (UTC)
