Landslide

edit

It's a buzzword for an unusually wide margin, especially if the outcome wasn't expected. In this case, Kennedy was the front-runner all along, and he succeeded another Republican who won his election with 55.6% of the vote versus his opponent's 37.7%. While Kennedy increased his share of the vote by 4%, his opponent also increased his share by 1.7%. Space4Time3Continuum2x (talk) 09:25, 11 December 2016 (UTC)Reply

Specific percentages

edit

An anonymous user keeps reverting the specific percentages without explanation. I'd rather not violate 3RR. Thanks. MB298 (talk) 04:15, 12 December 2016 (UTC)Reply

Is there any conventions from Wikipedia stating how many decimals there should be for an election result? I see that there are two decimals in the results for the runoff and only one for the first round... Orgyn (talk) 11:52, 21 December 2016 (UTC)Reply
