Does the "legislature" include the Senate?
editThe article for the 16th legislature focuses almost exclusively on the National Assembly, by contrast the French language version discusses both the National Assembly and Senate. Jokojis (talk) 20:32, 10 July 2024 (UTC)
- Hi, the legislature is defined by the period where the National Assembly is elected. The Senate is renewed by half each 3 years and each Member of Senate is elected for 6 years so there's no clear end of a legislature by the Senate.
- If both are in the discussion though, it's because the law can't be passed without the Senate as they have to vote too. Adeslebaroudeur (talk) 09:27, 10 October 2024 (UTC)
