Hull seems to have died at the battle, or immediately after. According to P.S. Lewis, "Wedgwood's emendation of Stow is unwary. An English Chronicle, ed. J. S. Davies, Camden Old Series, 64 (1856), is suffering from a misplaced editorial semi-colon on p. 70. Hull's inquisition post mortem (P.R.O. C 139/155, no. 41) in fact gives the date of his death fictitiously as 3 Sept. 1453. On his accounts the date is given as 18 July 1453 (P.R.O. E 364/192, m. 1); Hull must have been killed on 17 July or died of his wounds the following day. - ^ a b "Knights of the Orders of Chivalry". Debretts. Archived from the original on 17 December 2011.
