Jainism on Wikipedia
editDear members of the Jainism WikiProject,
Jai Jinendra. We are a group of scholars of Jainism who are looking to contribute to the Jainism entries on Wikipedia. Our aim is to update the existing Wikipedia entries as well as generate new Wikipedia content on Jainism. We are in the beginning stage of our work and have so far documented all the Wikipedia entries that are either directly or indirectly related to Jainism as well as started the content analysis of existing entries. We are also conducting a trial run of editing an existing entry as well as generating a new entry.
We see that you have done a lot of great work on the relevant entries and wanted to introduce ourselves. Our intention is to continue developing easily accessible and precise information on Jainism. We gradually hope to bring several more editors to the group. We will always be open for discussion if you happen to disagree with our edits and hope that you will welcome us to your group.
With best wishes,
Brianne Donaldson, PhD, Bhagwaan Mahavir/Chao Family Foundation Postdoctoral Fellow in Jain Studies, Chao Center for Asian Studies, Rice University
Ana Bajželj, PhD, Polonsky Academy Fellow, The Van Leer Jerusalem Institute
Michael Anderson, MA, Drew University
