Sales figures "+"
editRequesting to add a line about not adding a + on sales figures, such as "25,000+" The number is always increasing as with populations and views. Angus Wđ¶đ¶F (bark âą sniff) 19:11, 22 September 2020 (UTC)
- Were you hoping for something like this edit I just added? â JohnFromPinckney (talk) 01:14, 23 September 2020 (UTC)
- JohnFromPinckney, yes, that works. Thanks! AngusWđ¶đ¶F (bark âą sniff) 21:40, 28 September 2020 (UTC)

Worldwide chart for singles
editNow that there is an international singles charts, should it be included on all discographies similar to the artist's home country chart? I feel it would give the best sense of the success of a single Jonathon3378 (talk) 23:25, 27 March 2021 (UTC)
- I'm not aware of this international singles chart. Can you provide more information: a link or something about who tracks it? â JohnFromPinckney (talk) 01:38, 28 March 2021 (UTC)
- Billboard Global 200 Jonathon3378 (talk) 09:21, 29 March 2021 (UTC)
- Ah, thanks. Well, first of all, I would say (and could have already said earlier), "no, not necessarily on all discographies," but determined on a case-by-case basis. Maybe it adds something, maybe it doesn't. And then, I still have to question the worthiness of the Billboard Global 200 anyway. Does anybody pay attention to it besides Billboard? Will it still be in existence in three years? When I look at even our article, only two references cite non-Billboard sources, and they both talk about the "new" or "coming" chart. Do many outside sources make mention of the Global 200? If not, then I wouldn't want us to go to great effort adding their rankings, even to some of our discographies. â JohnFromPinckney (talk) 13:37, 29 March 2021 (UTC)
- Agree with John here. Billboard launches and closes charts all the time. Plus there is that incredibly dubious Rollingstones Top 100 chart too - I think if the chart becomes established and other reliable sources begin to refer to it then maybe. But even then, it won't track every country and has yet to become established as a dominant measure of worldwide success. â« Lil-Unique1 -{ Talk }- 17:39, 29 March 2021 (UTC)

Footnotes in chart position columns
editIs anything wrong with using lowercase as opposed to uppercase for footnote lettering? I didn't see anything specifying one over the other but I know a lot of Discogs do use uppercase. Is it simply a matter of personal preference, or was it stated somewhere that uppercase should be used? -- Carlobunnie (talk) 23:51, 15 June 2021 (UTC)
