Coverage
editIs there a way to learn what journals are covered under the categories? On the T&F page they don't list these two topic groups (e.g. arts and humanities are two different sections [1]. There are particular subjects I would be interested in, but I don't know if they are covered here. Thanks. LaMona (talk) 15:22, 19 June 2015 (UTC)
- @LaMona: This is the journal list for Arts & Humanities. I don't have a list for the sciences collection but we've got an email out to Taylor & Francis to clarify that and the distribution process. Nikkimaria (talk) 15:31, 19 June 2015 (UTC)
- @Nikkimaria: Wow, that is much more than I expected! The particular area I am hungering for isn't there, but this will really help with authors and artists. Thanks so much. LaMona (talk) 15:41, 19 June 2015 (UTC)
@Fenix down: Here is the sciences list. Nikkimaria (talk) 16:12, 24 June 2015 (UTC)
- @Nikkimaria:, thanks. Would definitely like access to this collection for Polar Geography and also probably the cartographic journals on thel ist too. Fenix down (talk) 16:19, 24 June 2015 (UTC)
More collections
editLove this. Thank you, TWL. Any chance we'll get other collections? The Education collection would be invaluable for me. (Is there another page where I should request this? I saw this was the "feedback" link.) – czar 05:13, 14 August 2015 (UTC)
- Hey czar, here's fine. It's certainly possible that this partnership will be expanded in future, particularly if T&F sees a good return from the current set of accounts - can't make any promises about specific collections though. Nikkimaria (talk) 14:19, 14 August 2015 (UTC)
Access Restrictions
editNot sure if anyone else is experiencing this, but I seem to have access restrictions in accessing journal articles within journals that I understood were available. Specifically this relates to the journal Polar Geography, I have full access to some articles but not to others. I was of the understanding that the accounts gave full access to all journals within the available collections. Have I misunderstood something. I'm not complaining as this is after all a free resource, but wondered if there were restrictions in place which were not made clear on the initial project page or whether this is an issue? Needless to say the articles which would be of most useful to me are ones where I am told I do not have access! Fenix down (talk) 10:14, 17 September 2015 (UTC)
- I will look into this and see what the situation is. MSJapan (talk) 21:09, 17 September 2015 (UTC)
- Thanks MSJapan, it seems, looking at article availability that I only have access to articles from 2008 or later. Fenix down (talk) 11:44, 21 September 2015 (UTC)
- Hi MSJapan, have you been able to have a look at this? Fenix down (talk) 21:18, 29 September 2015 (UTC)
- No, as I've been down with the flu. I do have the necessary contact info, and will make contact with T&F tomorrow to try to address the problem. MSJapan (talk) 04:25, 8 October 2015 (UTC)

Strategic, Defence & Security Studies collection
editHi all. As well as increasing the number of accounts available for each collection, Taylor and Francis have opened up access to the Strategic, Defence & Security Studies collection (Modern Archive)! Please feel free to apply if you think you would find these resources useful. Samwalton9 (WMF) (talk) 22:28, 30 September 2016 (UTC)
Missing Subscription
editHello. I've just accessed my T&F account, but I can't access articles I subscribed to (I applied for Arts & Humanities). According to the site, I don't have any subscriptions. Is there a reason why? Also, I', not sure if it's related, but I had to reset my password in order to access my account. Thanks! --MrLinkinPark333 (talk) 02:05, 21 November 2016 (UTC)
- @Nikkimaria: Do you know what might be the problem here? Samwalton9 (WMF) (talk) 20:42, 21 November 2016 (UTC)
- A couple people reported access issues yesterday, so it might have been a temporary system problem - if it persists we can reach out to their support folks. Nikkimaria (talk) 23:58, 21 November 2016 (UTC)
- @Nikkimaria:I still don't have a subscription. I'm not sure if it's related to the tech issues as well. --MrLinkinPark333 (talk) 03:07, 30 November 2016 (UTC)

"You do not have access to this content"
editI've been trying to access doi:10.1080/01426399508706468, but even after signing in I still get a "You do not have access to this content" message. I thought that might be because I don't have access to the Biological, Environmental and Earth Sciences collection, but it seems that I do (or at least I did). As a test, can anyone else access it? And if there've also been other access problems reported, could we perhaps ask if everything is working as they want it to? Justlettersandnumbers (talk) 10:04, 23 November 2016 (UTC)
- According to T&F there were several tech problems over the week of US Thanksgiving which should now be resolved. Nikkimaria (talk) 04:28, 29 November 2016 (UTC)
- I'm still getting the same message, "You do not have access to this content". Am I supposed to be able to acess that? Can anyone else? Justlettersandnumbers (talk) 13:10, 15 December 2016 (UTC)
- @Justlettersandnumbers: I would suggest emailing T&F at support@tandfonline.com. I had the same issue with my subscription access not being activated, and it got it resolved. --MrLinkinPark333 (talk) 15:54, 15 December 2016 (UTC)
- I had the same experience and it also got resolved. T&F support has been very prompt and helpful both times I've contacted them. Wasted Time R (talk) 13:22, 17 December 2016 (UTC)
- Thank you, MrLinkinPark333, Wasted Time R! I've taken your advice, here's hoping it works for me too – I find it a touch frustrating not to be able to actually access stuff. Justlettersandnumbers (talk) 18:06, 17 December 2016 (UTC)

Access to Transportation Planning and Technology
editGreetings. I am trying to find research about monorails and while going through Taylor & Francis, I have found an article that I can't seem to access. This is the article in question. It is unclear if Transportation Planning is it's own subsection or whether it falls under another section that we already should have access to. I just wanted to get some clarification, because the cost of seeing the article for just 24 hours is quite costly. --hmich176 03:16, 3 February 2017 (UTC)
Subscription arrived
editFinally arrived yesterday. Hawkeye7 (discuss) 12:16, 22 September 2017 (UTC)
Troubleshooting access
editI am trying to access this under Taylor & Francis for working on action comedy film. I accessed the collection through my The Wikipedia Library web page but could not view the article past the first page. Checking my emails, I got a username and password for Taylor & Francis in December 2020 that no longer works, as it appears that the password had expired. I'm not sure if the username works but under a new password? Pinging Samwalton9 (WMF) as the most recent editor of this page. Erik (talk | contrib) (ping me) 21:46, 5 December 2022 (UTC)
- @Erik Your username/password is no longer necessary for Taylor & Francis - it is now accessed directly through the library via the proxy server, as you initially tried. Unfortunately, however, we only have access to the few Taylor & Francis collections described here, and it looks like this particular item isn't in those collections. Samwalton9 (WMF) (talk) 12:06, 6 December 2022 (UTC)
- Thanks for clarifying! Appreciate it. Erik (talk | contrib) (ping me) 15:07, 6 December 2022 (UTC)
