Assassination of Heydrich

I would like to suggest the assassination of Reinhard Heydrich (one of the most important men in Nazi Germany) in the Operation Anthropoid. I think it is important, interesting ...ideal for selection in anniversaries;) szalas

2017 Request

• @Howcheng: 2017 is the 50th anniversary of Australian referendum, 1967 (Aboriginals). The entry for May 27 is a bit dry - it is hard to believe today, but prior to this, indigenous people weren't counted counted as part of the people of Australia. Perhaps something like "Australians voted overwhelmingly in favor of a constitutional referendum to include Indigenous Australians as part of the people of Australia and for the Australian government to make laws for their benefit."   • @Find bruce: The article looks mostly good, but there are a few paragraphs that have no citations at all: in the Background section, the Amendments to the Constitution section, and in the Legacy section. HMS Princess Irene

Where is the clear consensus to overrule that the blurb defers to the article, where obliterated was not mentioned. Stephen 06:49, 28 May 2017 (UTC)

But, as I have already explained, the article states " At 11:14 GMT on 27 May, Princess Irene exploded and disintegrated." Although "obliterated" is not used, the meaning is clear enough. If it makes you happy, I will change disintegrated to was obliterated. Mjroots (talk) 07:36, 28 May 2017 (UTC)

2024 request

I would like to suggest including Battle of Tsushima (1905) in the list for this year. On 27 May 1905, 11 battleships and 9 cruisers of the Imperial Russian Navy met 5 battleships and 29 cruisers of the Imperial Japanese Navy in the Sea of Japan. The decisive result of this battle ended the Russo-Japanese War. Did you know this is the only 'decisive' battle between two battleship fleets in the history?
