To show guests that Wikipedia is an active community, we try to only surface active hosts on the host page
Why has my host profile been moved to the breakroom?
edit- Hosts who have not made an edit to any Teahouse pages (including talk pages) for more than two weeks may find that their profiles have been automatically moved to the host breakroom by HostBot).
- We know that helping out new editors is hard work and hosts take WikiBreaks for many reasons. You can come back anytime by making an edit to any Teahouse page, or by manually checking in! HostBot will never delete your profile; even if you never participate again, you've earned a permanent place in the Host Pantheon for your work.
Why am I being asked to 'check in'?
edit- Checking in is a way to signal that you are available to help Teahouse guests again. This will move your profile from the breakroom back to the host page where guests can find you.
How do I check in as an active host again?
edit- If your profile has been moved to the breakroom, please click the 'check in' button on the WP:Teahouse/Host landing or in the WP:Teahouse/Host lounge, click save page below the edit window, and HostBot will automatically move your profile back for you within 24 hours. You can also accomplish the same thing by just editing any Teahouse page - so go ahead and let HostBot know you're back by answering a question, participating in a talk page discussion, or making whatever other hosting contribution to the project that you enjoy!
