Please join us on Saturday, June 21, 2014 from 11am–4pm at New York Public Library's Jefferson Market Library for an edit-a-thon hosted by New York Public Library, Metropolitan New York Library Council, Wikimedia LGBT and Wikimedia New York City as part of Wiki Loves Pride, a global campaign to expand and improve LGBT-related content. Prior Wikipedia editing is not required; assistance will be available the day of the event. Attendees should bring their own laptops and power cords. RSVP by signing your username below.
Details
No Wikipedia editing experience necessary; as needed throughout the event, tutoring will be provided for Wikipedia newcomers. If you are unfamiliar with Wikipedia, you might try this training module which will help explain a lot of things, including how to add your signature. Attendees should bring their own laptops and power cords.
