What, Where, and When?
editWhat? Editors of all experience levels are invited to:
- Learn about contributing and improving Wikipedia articles
- Help work on articles related to women in architecture, particularly on structures and biographies. (see article list here)
- Bring any reference materials you'd like to use and share!
Where? The Arts Incubator at the University of Chicago, 301 E Garfield Blvd, Chicago, Illinois, 60637 Google Maps link
- Nearest Transit Stations:
- Green Line (Garfield)
- After arriving at Garfield station, simply cross Garfield Ave while walking along Prarie Avenue!
- Nearest Bus Lines:
- The #55 Bus is your best bet. Closest stops are Garfield & Indiana or the Garfield Green Line, which puts you within a few minutes walking distance.
- Parking: TBA
When? Thursday, October 15th from 3:00 PM - 7:00 PM.
What else do I need to know?
- Please register an account prior to the event if you do not have one yet. There are many benefits to having an account, like being able to make your own username and track your contributions.
- Please bring your own laptops and power cords if you are able. Some laptops may be available to borrow, but please bring your own if you can.

editHaven't edited Wikipedia before? No problem. Editors of all experience levels are welcome. We'll help you get setup with an account and get you started about how to edit Wikipedia. This event includes a brief tutorial to Wikipedia editing process as well. Let us know if you are coming by signing in below using four tildes (~~~~).
