I am nominating this for featured list because this is a vital high level important article in the field of astronomy and is well prepped up for FLC. I have rewrote the entire lead section and cited them well. The entire article is at its best and is ready to roll out. Comment The top of Wikipedia:Featured list candidates states that "users should not add a second featured list nomination until the first has gained substantial support and reviewers' concerns have been substantially addressed."
