Visitors to Belize require a visa unless they are citizens of one of the visa-exempt countries.
All visitors are required to have sufficient funds, 75 USD per day and documents required for their next destination.

editOrdinary passports
editHolders of ordinary passports and refugee travel documents of the following countries and territories may enter Belize without a visa for an indefinite period (unless otherwise noted):[1][2][3]

Non-ordinary passports
editHolders of diplomatic or official/service passports may enter Belize without a visa for the following period:[2]

- A visa exemption agreement for holders of all passports with Russia entered into force on 12 January 2022, but it is currently unclear whether Russia is included in the list of visa-free countries or not.[5]
A visa exemption agreement was signed with Pakistan in September 2024 and it is yet to be ratified.[6]

Repatriation fee
editCitizens of the following countries must pay a repatriation fee of (unless otherwise noted) 1200 BZD (equivalent of 600 USD) upon arrival:[3]

editVisa not required for visits not exceeding 30 days for those holding a valid multiple entry visa or Permanent Residence Card of US, Canada or holding a valid multiple entry Schengen visa.[2][8]
