An Automated Message from HagermanBot

Hello. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. You may also click on the signature button   located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your name and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you! HagermanBot 14:08, 29 January 2007 (UTC)Reply

Levente (son of Vazul)

edit

I have added a "{{prod}}" template to the article Levente (son of Vazul), suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but I don't believe it satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and I've explained why in the deletion notice (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). Please either work to improve the article if the topic is worthy of inclusion in Wikipedia, or, if you disagree with the notice, discuss the issues at its talk page. Removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, but the article may still be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached, or if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria. Talk:Karthago band

edit

I put some comments on the above talk page which should allow you to resolve the notability issue. --Stormbay 17:32, 28 June 2007 (UTC)Reply

I see that you have not attempted to improve this page and no one else has tackled it either. You placed a number of external links on the discussion page. Would they help the article? If so, move them to the article. I am sure when I question the notability again, you will cite those entries. They need to be incorporated into the article. This is all intended in a friendly and helpful manner. Cheers! --Stormbay 20:18, 2 July 2007 (UTC)Reply

The combination "cz" in Hungarian

edit

Hello, please look at my question on the discussion page of the Hungarian lessons. Specifically, how do you pronounce "cz", as in Ferenczi: is it pronounced as "cs" or as "c"? Thanks, Eldad (talk) 10:12, 21 February 2008 (UTC)Reply

Köszönöm szépen - thank you very much for your detailed answer on my discussion page. Eldad (talk) 20:31, 22 February 2008 (UTC)Reply

Orphaned non-free media (Image:Icdt logo.jpg.gif)

edit

Thanks for uploading Image:Icdt logo.jpg.gif. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BJBot (talk) 04:58, 23 February 2008 (UTC)Reply

Hungarian for dummies - Wikibook

edit

Thanks for uploading File:AB pruning2.svg. The image has been identified as not specifying the copyright status of the image, which is required by Wikipedia's policy on images. If you don't indicate the copyright status of the image on the image's description page, using an appropriate copyright tag, it may be deleted some time in the next seven days. If you have uploaded other images, please verify that you have provided copyright information for them as well.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:

This is an automated notice by STBotI. For assistance on the image use policy, see Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. NOTE: once you correct this, please remove the tag from the image's page. STBotI (talk) 10:44, 24 March 2009 (UTC)Reply

No, in fact the only information that you put on this image at upload was

{{Information |Description = A modified version of the pruning tree in the "Alfa-beta pruning" article. |Source = |Date = |Author = |Permission = |other_versions = }}

There is no source, date, author, or permission. In addition, there is no copyright tag/template - see Wikipedia:File copyright tags for the full list available. Once you have that information and the correct copyright tag, just drop me or any admin a note and the image can be restored. Skier Dude (talk 00:14, 18 August 2010 (UTC)Reply

Notification: changes to "Mark my edits as minor by default" preference

edit

Hello there. This is an automated message to tell you about the gradual phasing out of the preference entitled "Mark all edits minor by default", which you currently have (or very recently had) enabled.

On 13 March 2011, this preference was hidden from the user preferences screen as part of efforts to prevent its accidental misuse (consensus discussion). This had the effect of locking users in to their existing preference, which, in your case, was true. To complete the process, your preference will automatically be changed to false in the next few days. This does not require any intervention on your part and you will still be able to manually mark your edits as being 'minor'. The only thing that's changed is that you will no longer have them marked as minor by default.

For established users such as yourself there is a workaround available involving custom JavaScript. If you are familiar with the contents of WP:MINOR, and believe that it is still beneficial to the encyclopedia to have all your edits marked as such by default, then this discussion will give you the details you need to continue with this functionality indefinitely. If you have any problems, feel free to drop me a note.

Thank you for your understanding and happy editing :) Editing on behalf of User:Jarry1250, LivingBot (talk) 20:09, 14 March 2011 (UTC)Reply
