Ruff
editHi Zhang, thanks for your useful comments at Ruff. Just to let you know that is normal to add comments to the bottom of talk pages, they may be overlooked elsewhere, Jimfbleak - talk to me? 05:47, 26 September 2012 (UTC)
Sunbird
editHi, nice work, nothing to fault that I can see. The one change I made was to switch to British English spelling, since the three English-speaking countries in the range use that form of English, so AE isn't appropriate — but you weren't to know that Jimfbleak - talk to me? 16:14, 26 September 2012 (UTC)
DYK for Golden-winged Sunbird
editOn 9 October 2012, Did you know? was updated with a fact from the article Golden-winged Sunbird, which you created or substantially expanded. The fact was ... that the range of the Golden-winged Sunbird coincides with its major food item, the nectar of the plant Leonotis nepetifolia (both pictured)? The nomination discussion and review may be seen at Template:Did you know nominations/Golden-winged Sunbird. You are welcome to check how many hits the article got while on the front page (here's how, quick check) and it will be added to DYKSTATS if it got over 5,000. If you know of another interesting fact from a recently created article, then please suggest it on the Did you know? talk page. |
Hi, I see you've added a claim to Crypsis. Do you have a source for that, and perhaps to elaborate it a little? Otherwise it will have to be removed as unsourced. Please see WP:REFB if you need help. Chiswick Chap (talk) 13:54, 28 November 2012 (UTC)
Also in Frequency-dependent selection - what paper are you citing, and why? Without a source and a reason for the claim, it quickly becomes worthless as nobody can tell if it's true or what it may mean. Chiswick Chap (talk) 13:56, 28 November 2012 (UTC)
Hey Tony, so with our assignment to nominate articles for GA-status yesterday, the one you've been putting a lot of work into has been reviewed. I don't want to completely commandeer it from you, so how would you feel about working in tandem to address the comments? My big issue is that you probably have the sources to get useful info included, whereas I can make edits to trimming/arranging sections or adding taxonomic info. and expand the lead. Thoughts? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Nsavalia23 Nsavalia23 (talk) 04:15, 29 November 2012 (UTC)
- Hey Zhangt2413, just wanted to let you know that the Scaly-breasted Munia is now up to GA-status!! Thanks for all the front-end work you put in and the help with the review process. And of course, congrats! Have a great holiday, see you next semester. Nsavalia23 (talk) 17:26, 18 December 2012 (UTC)
