The Discworld

edit

I noticed that you've made some great additions to the Discworld-related articles I thought you might be interested in a new WikiProject. It's at a very early stage and needs quite a bit of work. Take a look at the Discworld WikiProject. violet/riga (t) 21:45, 29 Dec 2004 (UTC)

For anyone reading this page, the suspect graphic has already been replaced by one known to be kosher. The earlier image will be deleted automatically, causing no problems. Wyvern 15:37, 27 February 2006 (UTC)Reply

Gorean Slave Positions & Commands

edit

Hi there! I'm a newish wikipedia member, young and filled with fresh energy! I've taken on the project of creating a page for "Gorean Slave positions and Commands." http://en.wiki.x.io/wiki/User:Nrodovsky/Sandbox#Gorean_Slave_Positions_.26_Commands I hope you'll drop by my talk page and give me feedback as I progress! (Minor rant: Ugh. I'm frustrated that there isn't an article or subsection somewhere outlining at least the more popular flora and fauna of Gor. My mention of tharlarion oil lamps has no context! Evening Scribe 07:37, 12 July 2007 (UTC)Reply

I don't know; that's on a LOT of web pages already. Putting in a wiki article on slave positions seems crufty... Wyvern 21:06, 12 July 2007 (UTC)Reply
What is crufty!? Also, it seemed as though on the Gor Talk page, under "Red Link," you yourself suggested creating such a page. Interestingly, in my net searches I'm finding far less slave positions pages than I used to. Also in my attempt to write in an encyclopedic tone, I'm able to write more context about each position than those positions pages on the next usually include. And my spelling and grammar is FAR superior. Perhaps what I'm writing would be more suitable inside of the Kajira page, but what I've lready written is pretty long already. Distance between Albany and Schoharie

edit

Even though that's what the cited source said, I really don't mind the change, since all the sources that reported on the accident early gave distances that varied from 25 to 40 miles.

I guess we could be looking for the straight-line as the crow flies distance ... any idea what that might be, or where we could find it? Daniel Case (talk) 05:59, 15 November 2018 (UTC)Reply

Proposed deletion of Fencer of Minerva

edit

The article Fencer of Minerva has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

unsourced, lack of notability, was unable to find any sources

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Waxworker (talk) 22:32, 23 May 2021 (UTC)Reply

Thanks for the heads up. I logged into Wikipedia just too late to prevent the damage but I'm appealing and for how am still optimistic. Wyvern (talk) 03:12, 2 June 2021 (UTC)Reply
