What makes a man turn neutral?
WikiProject: Dungeons & Dragons
editHi! I’ve been working on a lot of ‘’Dungeons & Dragons’’ articles lately and saw that you were a member of WikiProject Dungeons & Dragons), and am inviting you to rejoin Wikipedia’s D&D group. I've been hard at work removing tags placed inappropriately on D&D articles, as well as modifying articles to remove tags that were placed legitimately. In addition, I have been compiling related articles together so that the articles are longer, making it easier to remove tags and to have short articles on lesser topics by just putting it into another appropriate article (links to such compiled articles can be found on my userpage). Check out the project here , and ask any questions that you may have here. Thank you for your time. Drilnoth (talk) 21:01, 7 November 2008 (UTC)
- Thank you for reminding me that i joined this project, drilnoth. i took a look at the current goals of the wikiproject, and noticed that the 3 articles you mentioned need improvement in terms of language-use and citation (dwarf, warforged, and stellar dragon) most certainly do need it. I'm working on shortening the warforged article down to the important parts now. What makes a man turn neutral? (talk) 15:34, 9 November 2008 (UTC)
- Your welcome! And thanks for helping out... it seems like things have been kind of slow recently, and I've just been trying to get things moving again. Tag cleanup, stub lengthening, etc. Anything that you can help out with is great! -Drilnoth (talk) 18:34, 9 November 2008 (UTC)
Shinto talk page
editWhat was that? urashimataro (talk) 22:47, 4 February 2009 (UTC)
- I saw that new section ("i am o taking over the world" or whatever) on my watchlist and thought it was in the main article. I undid the edit that created it, and then realized it was part of the talk page. Since its uncouth to remove anything from a talk page, i restored upon realizing my error. Your comments
edit- Hi What makes a man turn neutral?, and thanks for the comments you left on my talk page. I have no objection to mentioning the Kojiki in the article on Shinto. I only removed it when it dated the Kojiki to 680 BCE; when you put it back in with a correction and an explanation, it remained in the lead paragraph. You also asked about "CE," so let me explain. Wikipedia stipulates that when a date does not have it (or a similar term), the meaning is the same as when it does have it. The style of this article omits these. Take a look at other dates and you'll see what I mean. I hope that clarifies what we can't say in the small box for edit summaries. I apologize if my edit summaries sometimes come across as terse (or grumpy!). Best regards, Fg2 (talk) 21:48, 11 February 2009 (UTC)
Creel Commission
editHi. I re-worked the Lippmann & Bernays stuff because the facts weren't quite right. Though many sources throw around Lippmann's name in relation to the CPI because he later wrote a lot about propaganda, he was a pretty tough critic of the CPI, and I have a lot of info about that further down in the write-up now. His badmouthing Creel really pissed Wilson off. As for Bernays, I have him below under staff and will beef that up in the next week or so. Too many people believe whatever Bernays says, but not only did he "invent" public relations, he was best at promoting himself. He later talks like he ran the show, but in fact he had responsibility for Latin America! No role in the U.S. at all.
I'm working from the classic book-length study of the CPI now: Mock's Words that won the war. The entry for Edward Bernays gets some of this right: Bernays began his career as Press Agent in 1913, counseling to theaters, concerts and the ballet." so stepping up to Latin America makes sense. But even that entry is vague abut what he actually did for the CPI. Bmclaughlin9 (talk) 01:56, 3 February 2011 (UTC)

- My source was an audiobook that I didn't exactly purchase, but I'm sure the author's bio in it hasn't been changed or anything. Guess I'll see how to cite an audiobook's jacket text or something. What makes a man turn neutral? (talk) 17:30, 28 March 2011 (UTC)

editCan you please explain this comment you left? Kaldari (talk) 17:12, 10 April 2011 (UTC)
- Yeah he is a friend of mine in real life. Or at least I'm fairly certain that's who he is--and about to find out. He recently showed off a page he started on Facebook, and it's Lazer Stein who started the page in any case. What makes a man turn neutral? (talk) 08:45, 12 April 2011 (UTC)
- OK, just checking. Kaldari (talk) 20:41, 12 April 2011 (UTC)

editHi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Dinesh D'Souza, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Portuguese (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver).
