Thanks very much for those edits. There's some good ones there. Sometimes one can get too close and too familiar with the subject matter to see them. Cheers Trevor Tyler (talk) 12:09, 10 February 2011 (UTC)Reply

In relation to your recent undo. My edit was a reversion to a previous version. Perhaps I should have made that clearer. If you check the edit history you will see that text was vandalised and then removed. So I just took it back to what it was. I am not sure what you mean by self promotion, unless you mean that the source was self promotion. You may be right when you say "Source doesn't provide much content." However, your undo didn't actually remove the source! Yaris678 (talk) 08:48, 6 July 2012 (UTC)Reply

Yes, you're right. My undo didn't actually remove the source. I've removed it now. wcrosbie (talk), Melbourne, Australia 22:07, 6 July 2012 (UTC)Reply

Hi. When you recently edited Nick Crosswell, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Hurricanes (rugby) (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Hi Wcrosbie, wondering if you have some time in the next few hours to lend your support- I created an article for [Angus Roberts] but its been tagged for speedy deletion. Would you be able to help beef it up a bit and/or weigh in on the debate please? http://en.wiki.x.io/wiki/Talk:Angus_Roberts Thanks Comes.amanuensis (talk) 04:47, 3 December 2012 (UTC)Reply

Hi again Wcrosbie! Thanks for your support of the Angus Roberts article, and for your work on the Damien Hill space- always constructive efforts. I've been quite remiss on not doing this before now, but I'd like to award you with one of these shiny little Rugby Union barnstars for a great deal of excellent service. Speedy deletion nomination of Last planner system

edit

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Last planner system requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article or image appears to be a clear copyright infringement. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.

If the external website or image belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text or image — which means allowing other people to modify it — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. If you are not the owner of the external website or image but have permission from that owner, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission. You might want to look at Wikipedia's policies and guidelines for more details, or ask a question here.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. New Challenge for Oceania and Australia

edit

Hi, Wikipedia:WikiProject Oceania/The 10,000 Challenge and Wikipedia:WikiProject Australia/The 5000 Challenge are up and running based on Wikipedia:The 10,000 Challenge which has currently produced over 2300 article improvements and creations. The Australia challenge would feed into the wider region one and potentially New Zealand could have a smaller challenge too. The main goal is content improvement, tackling stale old stubs and important content and improving sourcing/making more consistent but new articles are also welcome if sourced. I understand that this is a big goal for regular editors, especially being summertime where you are, but if you'd like to see large scale quality improvements happening for Oceania and Australia like The Africa Destubathon, which has produced over 1700 articles in 5 weeks, sign up on the page. The idea will be an ongoing national editathon/challenge for the region but fuelled by a series of contests to really get articles on every province and subject mass improved. The Africa contest scaled worldwide would naturally provide great benefits to Oceania countries, particularly Australia and attract new editors. I would like some support from existing editors here to get the Challenges off to a start with some articles to make doing a Destubathon worthwhile and potentially bring about hundreds of improvements in a few weeks through a contest! Cheers.♦ --MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 02:12, 24 November 2016 (UTC)Reply
