WP:MOVETODRAFT userscript
editHello, I have tagged a redirect for CSD R2 that was left behind when you draftified Baires Raffaelli. You might find the MOVETODRAFT user script useful for draftification—it helps inform creators about draftification and tags the redirect for CSD R2 that was left behind after the move. – DreamRimmer (talk) 17:43, 13 November 2023 (UTC)
Hi, can you please explain what your connection is to the Baires Raffaelli draft? You have, in your entire edit history, only a single mainspace edit - the edit to draftify this article, which had been approved by an AfC reviewer. What's going on here? -- asilvering (talk) 18:57, 13 November 2023 (UTC)

Request for Assistance on Article Amjad Shawa
editThis request for help from administrators has been answered. If you need more help or have additional questions, please reapply the {{admin help}} template, or contact the responding user(s) directly on their own user talk page. |
Hello Admins, I’m seeking help with the Amjad Shawa article. I’ve added Arabic-language references to improve sourcing, but the article has not yet been published. I understand the article must follow the biographies of living persons policy, and I’d appreciate guidance on the quality of the sources, whether any self-published sources are included, and if any content needs to be addressed or removed. What additional steps are needed for approval? Thank you for your time and assistance. Best regards, Vlodiker Chimok (talk) 10:19, 10 December 2024 (UTC)
- This question does not require the use of the admin toolset; any editor may help you with this. I'm also not sure what you mean, Amjad Shawa is indeed "published" and live, you moved it into the encyclopedia yourself. 331dot (talk) 10:48, 10 December 2024 (UTC)

Introduction to contentious topics
editYou have recently edited a page related to the Arab–Israeli conflict, a topic designated as contentious. This is a brief introduction to contentious topics and does not imply that there are any issues with your editing.
A special set of rules applies to certain topic areas, which are referred to as contentious topics. These are specially designated topics that tend to attract more persistent disruptive editing than the rest of the project and have been designated as contentious topics by the Arbitration Committee. When editing a contentious topic, Wikipedia’s norms and policies are more strictly enforced, and Wikipedia administrators have an expanded level of powers and discretion in order to reduce disruption to the project.
Within contentious topics, editors should edit carefully and constructively, refrain from disrupting the encyclopedia, and:
- adhere to the purposes of Wikipedia;
- comply with all applicable policies and guidelines;
- follow editorial and behavioural best practices;
- comply with any page restrictions in force within the area of conflict; and
- refrain from gaming the system.
Additionally, you must be logged-in, have 500 edits and an account age of 30 days, and are not allowed to make more than 1 revert within 24 hours on a page within this topic.
Editors are advised to err on the side of caution if unsure whether making a particular edit is consistent with these expectations. If you have any questions about contentious topics procedures, you may ask them at the arbitration clerks' noticeboard or you may learn more about this contentious topic here. You may also choose to note which contentious topics you know about by using the {{Ctopics/aware}} template.

editThank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you translated text from ar:أمجد الشوا to Amjad Shawa. While you are welcome to translate Wikipedia content, here or elsewhere, Wikipedia's licensing requires that you provide attribution to the contributor(s) of the original article. When translating from a foreign-language Wikipedia article, this is supplied at a minimum in an edit summary on the page where you add translated content, identifying it as a translation and linking it to the source page. Sample wording for this is given here. If you forgot, or were not aware of this requirement, attribution must be given retroactively, for example:
NOTE: Content in the edit of 01:25, January 25, 2023 was translated from the existing French Wikipedia article at [[:fr:Exact name of French article]]; see its history for attribution.
Retroactive attribution may be added using a dummy edit; see Repairing insufficient attribution. It is good practice, especially if translation is extensive, to also place a properly formatted {{translated page}} template on the talk page of the destination article. If you have added translated content previously which was not attributed at the time it was added, you must add attribution retrospectively, even if it was a long time ago. You can read more about author attribution and the reasons for it at Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia. Thank you. Significa liberdade (she/her) (talk) 23:49, 14 December 2024 (UTC)
