Tom Delay-related edit (heading by me)Hope this is how I am expected to post. My previous posts were not vandalism, I simply removed things that are not relevant to the article; as I see it, there are several message boards for the discussion of the rest of all that. In line with being an encyclopedia, it should be just the straight facts. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 69.143.119.48 (talk • contribs) Titoxd 01:18, 22 November 2005 (UTC) Thank you!Hi Titoxd, Thank you very much for your support on my RfA, and of course, your nomination that started it all :-) I was both surprised and delighted about the amount of support votes and all the kind words! I suggest putting the issue up for RfC, or maybe to put it up for deletion, to see whether or not the community really thinks it's worthless/dangerous. Whatever we do should be done soon, this really is becoming a candidate for WP:LAME Borisblue 03:20, 22 November 2005 (UTC)

Edit RfAs properly:
I've set the ball rolling for a WP:RFC survey to start, discussion is on the GRFA talk page. Please comment. Borisblue 04:11, 22 November 2005 (UTC) Tito, thank you kindly for your note. Would I be remiss in sitting this one out? The problem is I currently have limited time for editing WP, so I'm just logging on for a short while every couple of days to answer notes and/or continue work I'm already involved with. I glanced at the discussion and it seems I'd have to get through quite a bit of text and diffs to form a useful opinion—I'm not familiar with the (Durin's?) guide. Anyhoo, how are things otherwise? Regards encephalon 05:06, 22 November 2005 (UTC) MONGO RfAThank you for supporting my RfA. I'll remeber your kind advice and do all I can to not let you down. Thanks again!--MONGO 04:18, 23 November 2005 (UTC) Hi, Titoxd. Unfortunately, the source of the copyrighted material for the Zurn Commercial Brass article doesn't meet the definition of a commercial content provider, which is a company engaged in directly making money off the content of the material that has been copied. Zurn appears to be a plumbing fixture company, so they are trying to use the content to increase sales, not selling the content itself like an encyclopedia would. That really is the intention of CSD A8, which makes it only slightly better than worthless, as very few copyright violations are from such sources. I don't want the article to be undeleted, as I hate it when articles that everyone agrees should be deleted, are undeleted just to follow procedure. I just wanted to let you know for cases in the future. Thanks, Kjkolb 06:55, 23 November 2005 (UTC) GRFA RFCI really think we should do a WP:RFC survey. However, I think I've only visited RFC once, and I don't have a lot of experience in it, and I'm a bit clueless on how to start one (Wikipedia:Survey guidelines contains A LOT of instruction creep) Would you mind taking charge, before the Durin-Ambi dispute explodes? THanks Borisblue 21:24, 23 November 2005 (UTC)
Hi. You deleted this page, but it is not obvious to me that the Wikipedia:Disambiguation page should be at 3rd Degree instead of at Third degree. I'm not particularly invested in this, but isn't there some naming convention involved here? Irritated as I am by the outcome of this "rhyme before reason" AfD, and despite the fact that if I had the powers I would have closed this as delete (assuming I hadn't participated of course, and with an extensive explanation as to why, and crossing my fingers at the same time), and despite the fact that I was suprised at Sjakkalle's slightly casual approach to this closure, I don't see any valid reason to contest it. This article is still crap, totally against WP:V and WP:CITE, and the whole "because Canadians say so" thing makes my blood boil... but life goes on. Perhaps in another four months I'll put it up again if there aren't some real sources cited. POTWThanks, buddy. He's bordering on harrassment now, i'm wondering if I should ask another admin to block him for that, or even go out on a limb and do it myself. The arbcom has remained incredibly aloof while through all of these escapades of his. Karmafist 15:56, 24 November 2005 (UTC) Happy Thanksgiving!CSDConsider it a somewhat symbolic revert - the policy is a train wreck, and Kim's version improves many things. Should he put it in without consensus? Probably not. But I don't think Kim is wholly out of line either, and wanted to make that clear. Phil Sandifer 01:03, 25 November 2005 (UTC)

TfD logI usually archive anything that appears in the listings, including speedies. I have occasionally just wiped speedies, though, when I've had a lot to do since all the info required should be in the deletion summary and they could have been deleted without ever appearing on TfD or its logs. So I think wiping them is fine. I always archive them, though, if any discussion at all has preceded the speedy in case it lands on DRV. I contacted you because I saw you reverted some vandalism to my user page on November 24th. Thank you. I saw the edits by the IP accounts 63.18.246.17 and 63.18.172.52, suppose it was the same person twice, wrote "reverted fulger language, learn to spell". I remember when I wrote "reverted fulger language" on September 30th herein the edit history of Mcfly85's user page. It was a typo, I ment vulger not fulger. Im suprised I remembered that. Personal attackHi, please to be learning the difference between a personal attack and sarcasm. Spiro Agnew was one of the first of the modern conservatives to use flowery vitriol to attack the "liberal elite" that this VfD vote was about. That vote was pretty much a direct quote of him. I was going to ask you to let me know if you've any questions, comments, criticism, etc., but I note you've already left some on my talkpage. Re: motorised bicycle, I figured something more than just "no consensus" to give the warriors something to chew over might be useful. In this case, it had the desired effect, but reading back over what I said, I must concede that it could easily have blown up in my face. I'll take what you and Aaron Brenneman said to heart, and try to go easy on the rhetoric in the future. Thanks again, fuddlemark (fuddle me!) 15:03, 1 December 2005 (UTC) editing questionHi Titoxd, Why did you revert my edits to the University of Arizona page? The article is getting too long, and a new article was created specifically for athletics. I was eliminating otherwise redundant information. Please let me know. Thanks. Mxpc05 23:41, 1 December 2005 (UTC) thanksThanks TitoXD for the explanation. I do appreciate the help with the article. The Arizona Wildcat Athletics article does contain much of the same info, but I do agree that the rivalries should remain on the main page. After some more consideration from other users, I believe eventually most of the championship info will be moved entirely to the AZ Athletics page, as with other universities (like U. Minnesota). I will remove the notable venues and mascot section, as it is available verbatim on the link, and the main UA article is already 30kb. Happy Wikipediaing! Ingresé hoy a Wiki gringa y me dí cuenta que un viejo tema de mi creación fue traducido recién al idioma inglés Quivira. Esa traducción de la semana debe de haber sido como la quinta Translation of the Week de un artículo de mi creación en los últimos diez meses. with AOL ips...Users change IPs but it might be possible to do something like log a persons computer name, username (for computer) OS and some more specs also a cookie to make sure they are the same person and use all that to block AOL users. It should be added into the code. Also this can be used for IPs that have many users. --Adam1213 Talk + 04:25, 3 December 2005 (UTC) Excuse me?You did that why? -Splashtalk 02:37, 6 December 2005 (UTC)
Titoxd, it's pretty obvious to me now that I have woken up what a total ass I was being to you and SCZenz last night (my time). I don't think we should hand out user-specific content to anon user pages (and I think we should remove it where we find it), but there was absolutely no call for me to say so in nearly such abrasive terms. Sorry. -Splashtalk 13:37, 6 December 2005 (UTC) Who reverted the page, Splash? Did you? There's no history list, and no entry in the Recent Pages. This is abuse of the worst kind. "Irritating you" is not and never was my intent, nor have I attempted to do it. You irritated yourself by deciding that you know better than anyone. That is expressly not the purview of admins. 216.237.179.238 02:53, 6 December 2005 (UTC) Splash may or may not have a valid opinion, but it's clear from his actions that he's hiding (from?) it. I've been civil through all of this; reminding him that adminship is not a license to censor the wikipedia is not uncivil. 216.237.179.238 03:25, 6 December 2005 (UTC) thank you siryou are an admin and a gentleman (with a serious thing for green...) 216.237.179.238 02:39, 6 December 2005 (UTC) over the lineIt was not over the line. I copied the quote verbatim. Admins do not have any right to censor the wikipedia nor even to make editorial decisions. They exist to prevent common vandalism and to intervene in interminable disputes. And they only exist because such problems are more prevalent than was predicted and the people who have actual authority over the wikipedia do not have time to deal with it all. Admins need to remember that, and they need to be told why policies exist, or they will make up their own reasons and apply the policies incorrectly. 216.237.179.238 16:12, 6 December 2005 (UTC) I remeber what happened last time I asked...Which makes me feel somewhat better about asking again, I can't be accused of "stacking the house". Please come and voice an opinon at Wikipedia_talk:Websites#Straw_poll regarding the facts of "syndication" indicating notability. Although my RfA is not over yet, I figured that since so many people voted before it had been posted, I may as well start thanking people before it wraps up. It'll take me that long to thank everyone who voted anyway! Thank you for changing your mind and deciding to support, even after all those edit conflicts! I'll do my best as an admin to make the reality rise to the level of the dream. BD2412 T 05:06, 7 December 2005 (UTC) I suppose I am...How the hell did you know that :)?
