Hi, I'm RonBot, a script that checks new non-free file uploads. I have found that the subject image that you recently uploaded was more than 5% in excess of the Non-free content guideline size of 100,000 pixels. I have tagged the image for a standard reduction, which (for jpg/gif/png/svg files) normally happens within a day. Please check the reduced image, and make sure that the image is not excessively corrupted. Other files will be added to Category:Wikipedia non-free file size reduction requests for manual processing. There is a full seven-day period before the original oversized image will be hidden; during that time you might want to consider editing the original image yourself (perhaps an initial crop to allow a smaller reduction or none at all). A formula for the calculation of the desired size can be found at WP:Image resolution, along with instructions on how to tag the image in the rare cases that it requires an oversized image (typically about 0.2% of non-free uploads are tagged as necessarily oversized). Please contact the bot owner if you have any questions, or you can ask them at Wikipedia talk:Non-free content. See User:RonBot for info on how to not get these messages. Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Ryota Katayose, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Natalie (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

In a recent edit to this article you added refs which is great but this article uses the Harvard style of citations as seen at Wikipedia:Harvard citation template examples, Template:Harvard citation documentation, and Wikipedia:Parenthetical referencing. I just wanted to let you know that I have gone ahead and adjusted the refs you added to the Harvard-cite style that was already established in the article. In regards of Children of the Sea (film)

edit

Hello, I don't think we should change what the source has been titled and written as in the website, also, we shouldn't have add additional information to the sources after creating it as it'd sometimes be useless and misleading. I think leave the source as it should be is cool already. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Tray Framework (talkcontribs) 14:00, 29 May 2019 (UTC)Reply

Hello. I have noticed that you often edit without using an edit summary. Please do your best to always fill in the summary field. This helps your fellow editors use their time more productively, rather than spending it unnecessarily scrutinizing and verifying your work. Even a short summary is better than no summary, and summaries are particularly important for large, complex, or potentially controversial edits. Thanks! BOVINEBOY2008 00:14, 12 March 2021 (UTC)Reply

Help with Japanese film credit "進行主任"

edit

Thank you for your helpful edits on Wikipedia:WikiProject Japan/Film credits glossary! I keep encountering the term "進行主任" when subtitling Toei films from the 1960s. I could only find this term here at https://ja.wiki.x.io/wiki/制作進行, which links to the English-language article for "production assistant". Should this term really just be translated as "Production Assistant" in movie credits or is there a better way to translate this? It seems like the job must be far more important than what a "production assistant" is in English because there is only one listed and it includes the term "主任" ("chief"). The Japanese article seems to give some sort of explanation: "実写映画では、進行主任などとも呼ばれるが、プロダクション·マネージャーではなく、アシスタントの一種である。" I interpreted this to mean "In live-action films it is called a progress manager, though it is a kind of assistant, not a production manager." What do you think? Do you think that the term "進行主任" should be translated simply as "Production Assistant" or more grandiosely as "Progress Manager" or something else? This seems like an important term that should be added to the film credits glossary because it has appeared in every film I've watched lately but it doesn't appear in any dictionaries. I'm looking for the translation within the context of live-action films, by the way. Nicholas0 (talk) 02:42, 27 July 2022 (UTC)Reply
