Bank raid

My race has nothing to do with me removing the section. Wikipedia is not a place for "breaking news", the section was also unsourced. I would've deleted it no matter what country those people who were involved with came from. So please refrain from re-adding the section, it is irrelevant to the article. LaNicoya  •TALK• 09:18, 14 August 2007 (UTC)

What wikipedia is not states: "5. Journalism. Wikipedia should not offer first-hand news reports on breaking stories. Wikipedia is not a primary source. However, our sister project Wikinews does exactly that, and is intended to be a primary source."  LaNicoya  •TALK• 09:22, 14 August 2007 (UTC)

If that is the case, feel free to change the information and correct it. I wrote what i found in the sources. If you find something is wrong, correct it, that is what editors do on Wikipedia right? Don't forget to source the information you post. I'll translate the Spanish article [1] for the "Partido de Nicoya" and find more information and sources for it if possible. Maybe you can hold off changing anything on the Guanacaste article until i finish the Partido de Nicoya so it can be wikilinked, what do you say?  LaNicoya  •TALK• 07:30, 15 August 2007 (UTC)

Alright. It doesn't matter if the sources are in Spanish, i know this is English Wikipedia but our countries are in Latin America, most of out information available online is in Spanish. If you have a source, use it. Nothing in the Wikipedia guidelines says anything about not being able to use a source if it is not in English.  LaNicoya  •TALK• 07:41, 15 August 2007 (UTC)

Message on my talk page

As a general rule please may I recommend you leave messages about articles on the article talk page (where I think the deletion of schools lists was already discussed) and just leave a courtesy note on user talk pages drawing their attention to it? Otherwise you might accidentally give the impression that you are lecturing people on policies which they know (I've been the reviewing admin on a lot of speedy-ds), which would be a shame.
