Welcome!

Hello, Susan.beak, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Here are some pages that you might find helpful:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your messages on discussion pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically insert your username and the date. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or ask your question on this page and then place {{helpme}} before the question. Again, welcome!

Also, since you seem to be interested in adding professional reviews to articles about albums, you may want to take a look at WikiProject Albums' criteria for reviews and list of review sites. Remember that all reviews used in articles must meet Wikipedia's standars for reliable sources. Finally, please remember to leave edit summaries for your contributions. Thanks and happy editing! --IllaZilla (talk) 20:20, 11 May 2009 (UTC)Reply

StrangeGlue

edit

Regarding this edit you made to Wikipedia:WikiProject Albums, please propose your addition on the project's talk page (at Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Albums) before adding it to the list. The list is comprised of sites that have been proposed on the talk page, discussed amongst project members, and determined to meet Wikipedia's standards for reliable sources. If you would like StrangeGlue to be included on the list, please propose it on the talk page first and the project will be happy to take a look at it. As you can imagine, there are hundreds if not thousands of websites that offer music reviews, but not all of them are suitable for use in an encyclopedia. As we are often inundated with many such websites, we want to make sure that we've examined each one on our list and come to a consensus that it's appropriate before we recommend it to other editors.

Also, when you do add a review to an album article, please don't make Strange Glue an internal link. There is an article about Strange Glue but it is about a song, not the website. There is no article about Strangeglue.com (hence it turns up as a red link), so linking the words "Strange Glue" is actually sending readers to the wrong place. You can use the "preview" button before saving your edit, and then check your links to make sure that they lead to the correct articles. Thanks again! --IllaZilla (talk) 02:27, 12 May 2009 (UTC)Reply
