Shocking Blue Bananas!

edit

A bit of a subjective call that one, Stig! I have just listened again to all three versions (on YouTube) and, quite frankly, 2 minutes of Dave Arch doesn't really give us the things that define the Banana version (and there weren't many in my book!) The biggest factor must be that it was sung here in (three part?) female harmony. So ideally it might be Shocking Blue, in the style of Bananarama. It's hardly a big deal as they both link to the same wiki page. And they were both gold records after all. But it would be so much easier if there was an official BBC source for all of these songs. Does the blog site provide this? Cheers anyway. "Strictly yours!" BridesheadRecarpeted (talk) 20:20, 6 November 2011 (UTC)Reply

Welcome to Wikipedia. Everyone is welcome to contribute to the encyclopedia, but when you add or change content, as you did to the article Dancing with the Stars (U.S. season 12), please cite a reliable source for your addition. This helps maintain our policy of verifiability. See Wikipedia:Citing sources for how to cite sources, and the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. Please do not re-add unsourced information as you did in this edit. You need to provide sources that meet WP:VERIFY for this information, and the information as it is currently presented falls under WP:NOT#STATS. Sottolacqua (talk) 21:08, 7 November 2011 (UTC)Reply

Hi. In your recent article edits, you've added some links pointing to disambiguation pages. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

AGT Performance description

edit

Simplifying an article is completely wrong and is against Wikipedia's mission. As long as the info is necessary and not superfluous, and adds appropriate depth to the article (and this is a season page, so it's supposed to cover the season in-depth). Also for a show like AGT, where every act is different, and it's not just singers and dancers, sometimes a detailed performance description is entirely necessary. If you like to simplify stuff to the point where each act looks the same and there's no differentiating between a tap dancer or a dancer, or a comedy illusionist or an illusionist, please go to Simple English Wikipedia and make your own article for this show there. Let's Dance For Comic Relief 2013

edit

Hi Sorry to bother you but I was just wondering if you read both links that I added to the page last night. The Five acts that I added for Heat 1 were confirm,ed by the official page in the Contestants section for Heat 1 . http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b00z1q37/profiles/contestants There are 5 acts mentioned for Saturday's show, which are the same 5 acts that were mentioned in the BBC Media Centre article. Plus 4 out of the 5 mentioned for week 2 in the Media Centre were in the episode listing. Also I thought that it was at least ok to put some confirmed names in that article in the opening paragraph, as they have been at least confirmed. I was curious to know what you thought. thanks70.54.153.26 (talk) 14:19, 15 February 2013 (UTC) samusek2Reply
