Regarding the SpongeBob WikiProject

edit

Attention, member of Wikiproject SpongeBob SquarePants. This project is up for deletion at this page. ForestH2 has become a sockpuppeter and is being blocked from Wikipedia. So, he will most likely not return. (along with his sockpuppets.) The board of the project has been very controversal. I am removing the board (as it is contoversal and wont really matter) as a result. This project can improve if it can undergo clean-up (which i am in the process of) But, most of all, it needs to be kept. So, I hope you can support this project from its time of inactivity and save it from deletion, then we can continue to improve SpongeBob SquarePants articles. I would hope that you would support with me, but please voice your opinion by clicking here: Wikipedia:Miscellany for deletion/Wikipedia:Wikiproject SpongeBob SquarePants. Thank-you. -AMK152 17:04, 7 October 2006 (UTC)Reply

Featured articles
We are trying to make several articles good or featured articles. We would like your help reaching featured article status. We are currently working on SpongeBob SquarePants, Krusty Krab, and Bikini Bottom. Please help us improve these articles, based on the peer reviews and your knowledge of Wikipedia featured articles.
Project objectives
  • Episode Pages:
  • Infoboxes need to be complete on each episode article. (See Template:SpongeBob episode)
  • A screenshot of each title card for each episode needs to be complete on each episode article to improve it.
  • Please try to help incorperate all trivia into the rest of the articles.
  • Try to incorperate non notable quotes to Wikiquote
  • Games: The SpongeBob game articles need to be expanded, especially the stubs. See here: Template:SpongeBob Games.
  • SpongeBob Books - On the List of SpongeBob SquarePants Media, books needed to be listed and a description of the book.
  • Featured and Good Articles - If you believe it's good enough, feel free to nominate it. Some of these articles are just great but aren't getting nominated. Adding content to let it reach the status is just as important.

Orphaned fair use image (Image:Patchy the Pirate.jpg)

edit

Thanks for uploading Image:Patchy the Pirate.jpg. I notice the 'image' page currently specifies that the image is unlicensed for use on Wikipedia and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable under fair use (see our fair use policy).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any fair use images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. ~ BigrTex 17:53, 16 January 2007 (UTC)Reply

Speedy deletion of Template:User Bolivian

edit

A tag has been placed on Template:User Bolivian requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section T3 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a deprecated or orphaned template. After seven days, if it is still unused and the speedy deletion tag has not been removed, the template will be deleted.

If the template is intended to be substituted, please feel free to remove the speedy deletion tag and please consider putting a note on the template's page indicating that it is substituted so as to avoid any future mistakes (<noinclude>{{transclusionless}}</noinclude>).

Airdates and Seasons

Please stop edit-warring. I know you live in Italy because of a geolocate and either airdates are different there or you're being disruptive. But there's proof of Who-Bob What Pants being a season 6 episode. Read this: http://www.tv.com/spongebob-squarepants/whatever-happened-to-spongebob-whobob-whatpants/episode/1213951/summary.html?tag=ep_guide;ep_title;17 And you can find this proof on any other reliable website. Also Sand Castles in the Sand isn't a season 7 episode http://www.tv.com/spongebob-squarepants/sand-castles-in-the-sand/episode/1257121/summary.html?tag=ep_guide;ep_title;26 The more i look at your contibutions i realize that you're just guessing what season episodes are in without solid proof, which is speculation. edit

Hello. Your account has been granted the "reviewer" userright, allowing you to review other users' edits on certain flagged pages. Pending changes, also known as flagged protection, is currently undergoing a two-month trial scheduled to end 15 August 2010.

Reviewers can review edits made by users who are not autoconfirmed to articles placed under pending changes. Pending changes is applied to only a small number of articles, similarly to how semi-protection is applied but in a more controlled way for the trial. The list of articles with pending changes awaiting review is located at Special:OldReviewedPages.

When reviewing, edits should be accepted if they are not obvious vandalism or BLP violations, and not clearly problematic in light of the reason given for protection (see Wikipedia:Reviewing process). More detailed documentation and guidelines can be found here.

If you do not want this userright, you may ask any administrator to remove it for you at any time. Courcelles (talk) 17:56, 19 June 2010 (UTC)Reply

Thanks for uploading File:BDEmusic.gif. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

PLEASE NOTE:

  • I am a bot, and will therefore not be able to answer your questions.
  • I will remove the request for deletion if the file is used in an article once again.

You reverted my change from the project logo back to the holes on Template:WikiProject SpongeBob SquarePants. I agree with you, but maybe someone could make an abbreviated version of the project logo, or we could just use the SpongeBob SquarePants (probably off-screen) logo, which I've also got as a vector image here on the Wikia SpongeBob wiki. What do you think?"User:Nicky Nouse" is not a valid HTML tag. See Help:HTML in wikitext.

Speedy deletion nomination of TimedText:The Simpsons Movie Opening Credits.ogg.en.srt

edit

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

Thank you for experimenting with Wikipedia. Your test worked, and the page that you created has been or soon will be deleted. Please use the sandbox for any other tests you want to do. Take a look at the welcome page if you would like to learn more about contributing to our encyclopedia.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hang on}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion, or "db", tag; if no such tag exists, then the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate and adding a hang-on tag is unnecessary), coupled with adding a note on [[Talk:TimedText:The Simpsons Movie Opening Credits.ogg.en.srt|the talk page]] explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the administrator userfy the page or email a copy to you. Hello

edit

Hey Sebastian,

Don't know if you remember me but I certainly remember you, both from tv.com and SpongeBuddy Mania. I was thinking about tv.com and that crazy autumn/winter of '08-'09 earlier and I was thinking of you and it occurred to me that you were on Wikipedia and I'd never dropped you a line here, even though I've been a Wikipedian for two years. So I just thought I'd say hello. Not sure if you still edit Wikipedia or if you'll even get this message, but we knew each other both on tv.com and SBM. I don't know if you're on the SpongeBob Community, which is essentially SBM's "rival" forum, but they've effectively cornered the market on SB forums and wiped SBM off the map. Very dead now, least it seems the few times I check, unless you think differently. As it happens, the main site I'm addicted to contributing to these days is this one!

Anyhow, if you get this, love to hear back from you. Hope life is treating you well and if you've ever wondered if there are any other SBMers/tv.comers on Wikipedia, I've been here since summer 2010 and don't have any intentions of leaving anytime soon.

Thanks again!

P.S. Just remembered it was on your userpage I saw a Wikipedia userbox for the first time in my life! Haha, now I have a gazillion of 'em on my page. Oh, Good memories.

Hi. When you recently edited Descriptive Video Service, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page ABC (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Proposed deletion of Voice writing

edit

The article Voice writing has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Doesn't meet WP:NOTABILITY.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. ArbCom 2023 Elections voter message

edit

Hello! Voting in the 2023 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23:59 (UTC) on Monday, 11 December 2023. All eligible users are allowed to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.

The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.

If you wish to participate in the 2023 election, please review the candidates and submit your choices on the voting page. If you no longer wish to receive these messages, you may add {{NoACEMM}} to your user talk page. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 00:29, 28 November 2023 (UTC)Reply
