Quotes

edit

Hello, regarding this edit https://en.wiki.x.io/w/index.php?title=Pantera&diff=1262001723&oldid=1260253979 Quotes should not be changed. You added a comma in the sentence Anselmo's rebuttal was that everybody's day is coming and that if his day should come before Vinnie's it would not change anything where there was none in the original. FMSky (talk) 14:57, 9 December 2024 (UTC)Reply

Hello,
Apologies. I thought that, since the quote wasn't enclosed in quotation (") marks, it was not actually a quote and thus changed it by misjudgment. Thank you for bringing this to my attention, and I'll make sure not to do this in the future. Thanks.
Sparkle and Fade talkedits 23:14, 9 December 2024 (UTC)Reply
Actually you were right, I got it wrong, that part wasn't actually the quote. The part around it was. My bad --FMSky (talk) 23:22, 9 December 2024 (UTC)Reply

December 2024

edit

Your tagging of 2027 ICC Women's T20 Champions Cup as an WP:A3 was inappropriate. You must look at the history of an article before tagging it for deletion; if you had, it would have been clear that the editor before you (not the creator of the page) had blanked the article. Also, whenever you tag an article for speedy deletion, you must notify the creator of the article, which you did not do. Finally, your comments at the Talk page of the user who blanked it were wrong. You don't tag an article for speedy deletion as an A3 because you think it's premature. Frankly, you are too new an editor to be tagging articles for deletion. Please stop doing so until you understand better how it works.--Bbb23 (talk) 22:59, 20 December 2024 (UTC)Reply

Apologies, Bbb23. I understand the mistakes I made, and I will take the necessary steps to properly labelling a speedy deletion from hereout, including reviewing CSD and the deletion policy. Sorry. —Sparkle and Fade talkedits 23:05, 20 December 2024 (UTC)Reply
