Discuss rather than edit war
editFeel free to weigh-in on the discussion. If you prefer an image other than the one used, you may add your weight behind your preference, provided that you actually offer valid criticism. And for the record, I own a Toller cross, but she has recognizable Toller features so I am in no way ignorant of the breed. Walter Görlitz (talk) 20:11, 31 August 2021 (UTC)
Editing on talk pages
editPlease read Wikipedia:Talk page guidelines and Help:Talk_pages#Indentation. When you respond in the middle of a reply and one that follows it, it breaks up the discussion and makes it difficult to follow the thread. Just comment at the bottom. Walter Görlitz (talk) 18:27, 1 September 2021 (UTC)
- Scottyten, please sign your messages on talk pages by typing four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically insert your username and the date and allow others to see which are your comments. You can find a bottom below the editing window that automatically puts them in. Cavalryman (talk) 06:23, 2 September 2021 (UTC).

editHello, and welcome to Wikipedia. You appear to be repeatedly reverting or undoing other editors' contributions at Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retriever. Although this may seem necessary to protect your preferred version of a page, on Wikipedia this is known as "edit warring" and is usually seen as obstructing the normal editing process, as it often creates animosity between editors. Instead of reverting, please discuss the situation with the editor(s) involved and try to reach a consensus on the talk page.
If editors continue to revert to their preferred version they are likely to lose their editing privileges on that page. This isn't done to punish an editor, but to prevent the disruption caused by edit warring. In particular, editors should be aware of the three-revert rule, which says that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Edit warring on Wikipedia is not acceptable in any amount, and violating the three-revert rule is very likely to result in loss of your editing privileges.
You have made 4 edits between 2021-08-31T10:40:31 and 2021-09-02T02:52:39.
- Yes I have. Three reverts in 24 hours is the limit. Walter Görlitz (talk) 04:42, 2 September 2021 (UTC)
