editHello, I'm 331dot. I wanted to let you know that one or more of your recent contributions to World News Media have been undone because they appeared to be promotional. Advertising and using Wikipedia as a "soapbox" are against Wikipedia policy and not permitted; Wikipedia articles are written objectively, using independent sources, and from a neutral perspective. Managing a conflict of interest
editHello, Scottrouse. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places, or things you have written about in the article World News Media, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a COI may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic, and it is important when editing Wikipedia articles that such connections be completely transparent. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for organizations for more information. In particular, we ask that you please:
- avoid editing or creating articles related to you and your family, friends, school, company, club, or organization, as well as any competing companies' projects or products;
- instead, you are encouraged to propose changes on the Talk pages of affected article(s) (see the {{request edit}} template);
- when discussing affected articles, disclose your COI (see WP:DISCLOSE);
- avoid linking to the Wikipedia article or to the website of your organization in other articles (see WP:SPAM);
- exercise great caution so that you do not violate Wikipedia's content policies.
In addition, you must disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution which forms all or part of work for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation (see WP:PAID).
Please take a few moments to read and review Wikipedia's policies regarding conflicts of interest, especially those pertaining to neutral point of view, sourcing and autobiographies. Thank you. 331dot (talk) 09:54, 22 August 2017 (UTC)
If you believe the material is defamatory, please follow the instructions on this page(click the link). Note that merely being negative information is not necessarily defamatory; as long as information appears in an independent reliable source, it can be in a Wikipedia article. 331dot (talk) 09:56, 22 August 2017 (UTC)

editPlease stop making disruptive edits, as you did at World News Media.
- If you are engaged in an article content dispute with another editor, discuss the matter with the editor at their talk page, or the article's talk page, and seek consensus with them. Alternatively you can read Wikipedia's dispute resolution page, and ask for independent help at one of the relevant notice boards.
- If you are engaged in any other form of dispute that is not covered on the dispute resolution page, seek assistance at Wikipedia's Administrators' noticeboard/Incidents.
If you continue to disrupt Wikipedia, you may be blocked from editing. 331dot (talk) 10:23, 22 August 2017 (UTC)
World News Media - conflict of interest
editYour first edit summary for World News Media states, "Page contained defamatory content, broad edits were made to include information about the B2B magazines we produce instead" [my emphasis]. A quick internet search for "Scott Rouse" reveals that a Scott Rouse works for World News Media. Could you please read our COI policies, and maake a declaration before editing the World News Media article again. You should only be making suggestions on its talkpage, not editing the article directly. Edwardx (talk) 11:03, 22 August 2017 (UTC)

User:AmazingCheque81
editI was wondering if you are aware of the activities of User:AmazingCheque81, who has been creating Wikipedia articles about many of your company's magazines, including Business Destinations, World Finance, The New Economy Magazine, World Finance Magazine, and Business Destinations Magazine. These have all been deleted - please see User talk:AmazingCheque81 for more details. Edwardx (talk) 14:11, 4 September 2017 (UTC)
