Johann Wolfgang's RfA
editThank you for voting on my RfA. I realize that I have not been here long, however Celestianpower and Essjay said I would do just fine as an administrator, so I followed their advice. I do realize non-admins can participate in AfD's,
however nominating articles for AfD is easy, finding articles to nominate is alot harder, I generally try to fix it first; pov, grammar, sentence structure, etc. About resolving issues between other editors, I would not immediately run to a mediator to solve a problem, I would try to work it out. What I meant by 'out of control' was after anything I could have done did not work. You are right about my lack of experience, I feel I have a good idea of Wikipedia policy but as it seems not enough to be an affective administrator. Thank you for your time.
Happy editing!

Lightbringer Again
editI'm fairly new to editing Wikipedia so I don't know the exact requirements for sockpuppetry. However, I figured since you were the moderator who blocked Lightbringer, you should be made aware that another user by the name of Call_of_Duty has been making similar changes to the Freemasonry and Anti-Freemasonry articles. This user has a similar speratic editing style, a focus on Freemasonry and Anti-Clericialism and an edit history which may be connected with IP 194.35.186.254. Although, no personal attacks have appeared, it is my belief that he his lying low as to not attract attention. Another editor on the Freemasonry Article has noticed this activity. Chtirrell
I also noticed it and was coming here to confirm that that's who I thought he was back as. He's not all that stealthy of a guy. DreamGuy 17:38, 8 November 2005 (UTC)
- At first I couldn't imagine that the comment was that bad, but I checked the history and I guess it was worded harshly. Besides, it's not like me pointing it out would magically make him see the error of his ways. So, yeah, removing it is fine. DreamGuy 20:57, 8 November 2005 (UTC)
My RFA
editI'm sorry you found reason to be neutral on my request for adminship, but now that I've been promoted, I'd like to clear the slate. If you have any specific issues/problems with me, please feel free to state them on my talk page so that I can work to prevent them in the future. ALKIVAR™ 07:26, 8 November 2005 (UTC)
Thanks for supporting my RfA
editI know I've been slow in saying this, but thanks for supporting my request for adminship. It was an honor to be both nominated and approved as an admin. If there is ever any adminish (is that a word :-) things you need help with, please let me know. --Alabamaboy 16:38, 8 November 2005 (UTC)

editDid you know? has been updated. A fact from the article Dan Syvret, which you recently created, has been featured in that section on the Main Page. If you know of another interesting fact from a recently created article, then please suggest it on the "Did you know?" talk page. |
Block request
editThis user [1] has vandalized almost every Masonry-related page on Wikipedia, as evidenced here. Please block and revert. Also, could you find me the short link for the block request page so I don't have to ask next time? Thanks! MSJapan 16:21, 10 November 2005 (UTC)
- I would have warned first, but that's not a registered user, it's an actual IP, so there was no user talk page available (the contribs page was the only thing available), nor can I create one (I tried, but there's no tab). Thanks for the help. MSJapan 16:29, 10 November 2005 (UTC)
London Vandal
editI would love to take the credit, but Bruce89 actually posted the London vandal, not me. I don't know why he posted it between my vandal and my signature.
Just to say thanks!
editThanks very much for the congratulations you posted on my talk page! Much appreciated! HowardBerry 23:47, 10 November 2005 (UTC)

Ianblair23's RfA
editG'day Scimitar,
I would like to thank you for supporting me on my RfA. It closed with the final tally of 57/0/0. I can only hope I can live up to the expectations that this wonderful community of ours demands from each of its administrators. If you ever need anything, please just let me know. Cheers! -- Ianblair23 (talk) 02:07, 22 November 2005 (UTC)Hello. Round four of Wikipedia Mind Benders will open on Thursday, December 1. This round will be drastically different from round three; part one will consist of a creative project, and part two will be developed from there. The full details will be released when the round opens. Time and speed should not be major factors in this round; thus, there is no exact opening time for the round as speed will not factor into the scoring. Thanks! P.S. Please add Wikipedia:Mind Benders/to do to your watchlist to receive further announcements; the NotificationBot is currently down and all notifications will be placed on that page. Sorry for any inconvenience.

Image galleries
editYou have in the past commented on Image Galleries nominated for deletion. Most galleries are nominated because the nominators feels that galleries violate WP:NOT. The William-Adolphe Bouguereau gallery has been nominated for deletion (here). A proposal to modify WP:NOT is here. Please join either or both conversations and comment as you see fit.
