Wikipedia is built on collaboration, so it's one of our core principles to interact with one another in a polite and respectful manner.   Please do not attack other editors, as you did at Allie X:"You had no standing to do this. Many of the references you have been removing are WP:ABOUTSELF.   This is your only warning; if you make personal attacks on other people again, as you did at arbitration board, you may be blocked from editing without further notice. Comment on content, not on other contributors or people. quote It seems like they are colluding to be so crudely disruptive.endquote I am being accused of collusion with editor Wordseventeen in the serious venue of the arbitration board. There is no proof of collusion. no diffs, no nothing You need to cut this junk out! You are guilty of repeated personal attacks against me with absolutely no proof and no diffs just attacks. You are guilty of severe disruption and repeated personal attacks against a specific editor! I have been personally attacked for the fifth time now! You need to be blocked by an admin ASAP to prevent any further disruption to wikipedia. Zpeopleheart (talk) 01:21, 19 November 2015 (UTC)Reply

The reference by whathisface

edit

Was probably not intended to call you anything mean, just an expression that he had little to worry about (which is incorrect). The song 99 problems is famous to the point that I've seen it analyzed in solid law journals, and has the recurring chorus "I got 99 problems but a bitch ain't one" - and both Jay-Z and most analyses of the song concur that 'bitch' doesn't reference a human woman at any point. You may find this piece about it an interesting read, although it's totally tangential to the issues at hand. I'll be making more relevant post on the article talkpages shortly. Kevin Gorman (talk) 00:19, 22 November 2015 (UTC)Reply

@Kevin Gorman:I am familiar with the song; I said potentially because he did adapt the lyrics to reference this specific situation, talking about the ANI's and "arbbie". Though, I've been called much worse; it doesn't really offend me. Anyway, interesting read. Never knew it wasn't. SanctuaryX (talk) 00:39, 22 November 2015 (UTC)Reply
Annie is likely just a play on WP:ANI and arbbie on arbitrator - the fact that he didn't have a pending arbitration case lingering over his head. He may have overlooked the fact that the reason the arb case was rejected is because admins have block buttons. As a further tangent there have actually been some major changes in New York law regarding the search of a vehicle since the incident occurred, the song was published, the article were published, and now so any meaningful review of the accuracy of that verse depends on if you're analyzing it at the time the suppose real event occured, when the song was charged, when the article was published, and now :). Of course, Jay-Z should probably not be taken as a figure to look to for legal guidance, since he famously opined "You see me with a bodyguard that means police is watchin', And I only use his Waist to keep my Glock in" in 2001 only a matter of months before he was facing legal charges for, before, well, keeping his unregistered Glock in his bodyguard's waistband. Your arbitration request

edit

Hi, SanctuaryX. In response to your request for arbitration of this issue, the Arbitration Committee has agreed that arbitration is not required at this stage. Arbitration on Wikipedia is a lengthy, complicated process that involves the unilateral adjudication of a dispute by an elected committee. Although the Committee's decisions can be useful to certain disputes, in many cases the actual process of arbitration is unenjoyable and time-consuming. Moreover, for most disputes the community maintains an effective set of mechanisms for reaching a compromise or resolving a grievance.

Disputes among editors regarding the content of an article should use structured discussion on the talk page between the disputing editors. However, requests for comment, third opinions and other venues are available if discussion alone does not yield a consensus. The dispute resolution noticeboard exists as a first point of call for disputes that are not resolved by discussion, and the Mediation Committee provides formal mediation for advanced content disputes.

In all cases, you should review Wikipedia:Dispute resolution to learn more about resolving disputes on Wikipedia. The English Wikipedia community has many venues for resolving disputes and grievances, and it is important to explore them instead of requesting arbitration in the first instance. For more information on the process of arbitration, please see the Arbitration Policy and the Guide to Arbitration. I hope this advice is useful, and please do not hesitate to contact a member of the community if you have more questions. Miniapolis 00:42, 22 November 2015 (UTC)Reply

ArbCom elections are now open!

edit

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.   Thank you for making a report on Wikipedia:Administrator intervention against vandalism. Reporting and removing vandalism is vital to the functioning of Wikipedia and all users are encouraged to revert, warn, and report vandalism. However, it appears that the editor you reported may not have engaged in vandalism, or the user was not sufficiently or appropriately warned. Please note there is a difference between vandalism and unhelpful or misguided edits made in good faith. If the user continues to vandalise after a recent final warning, please re-report it. Thank you. Zpeopleheart (talk) 22:34, 25 November 2015 (UTC)Reply

Moving discographies

edit

Please don't move discographies to namespaces with a capital D, as you did with Florrie discography. This is incorrect per discography naming standards; see literally any discography on Wikipedia, and especially featured discographies. Ss112 11:09, 9 July 2016 (UTC)Reply
