Wikipedia is not censored

edit

Please stop. Wikipedia is not censored. Any further changes which have the effect of censoring an article will be regarded as vandalism. If you continue in this manner, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. Ward3001 (talk) 04:41, 27 February 2009 (UTC)Reply

Sorry, but I have no idea why you are accusing me of vandalism when I have not removed anything from any article. I am perfectly aware that Wikipedia is not censored and therefore, I would not try to censor anything myself. Please be more careful with your warnings. He was probably talking about the string of edits you made in February removing depictions of sex acts. In any case, he's retired, and this warning is past its shelf life. –xenotalk 17:57, 30 September 2009 (UTC)Reply

Speedy deletion of Yakan people

edit

A tag has been placed on Yakan people requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about about a person, organization (band, club, company, etc.) or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you. Speedy deletion nomination of A Penguin's Troubles

edit

A tag has been placed on A Penguin's Troubles requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A3 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is an article with no content whatsoever, or whose contents consist only of external links, a "See also" section, book references, category tags, template tags, interwiki links, a rephrasing of the title, or an attempt to contact the subject of the article. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content. You may wish to consider using a Wizard to help you create articles - see the Article Wizard.

  • I saw your request on the talk page to be given time to work on the article. Take all the time you need. What you had posted so far was not an article at all, so there is nothing lost by deleting it. When you have something written, you can create a new article. --R'n'B (call me Russ) 20:02, 30 September 2009 (UTC)Reply
  • Hi Russ, thanks for your quick reply. I'm quite new at this, so I can get a bit "jumpy" when I see people tagging my articles for

"speedy deletion" when I've just started them. Anyway, I'm glad we've cleared this up. Saira92 (talk) 22:59, 30 September 2009 (UTC)Reply

Please do not add content without citing verifiable and reliable sources, as you did to Penguin's Troubles. Before making any potentially controversial edits, it is recommended that you discuss them first on the article's talk page. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. Thank you. Eeekster (talk) 23:25, 30 September 2009 (UTC)Reply

Speedy deletion nomination of A Penguin's Troubles

A tag has been placed on A Penguin's Troubles requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia.
