My fault? If I've screwed up and broken something, say so and why/how; I'll probably see that I've erred, and will at least acknowledge that you've raised an objection. (Less hostility and more information will work better.)
Confused? If I said something to you today that seems very different in approach or tone to the other day, it's likely because I pay little attention to (and have a poor memory for) usernames. I try to address the content of posts and edits on their own merits.
Offended? It's unlikely that this was my intent. I'm never a WP:JERK just for kicks (even if argumentative by nature). If we have a dispute, usually it's something we can easily hash out and move past with no hard feelings. I'm amenable to all dispute resolution avenues. Sometimes I'm just wrong but haven't figured that out yet. (Sometimes you are, too. >;-) Often it's just mutually poor communication. If I seem angry with you, I'm probably not, just over-caffeinated. Sometimes I type angry-looking things even though I'm smiling; this is a poor medium for conveying emotion.
