Fractional reserve banking mediation cabal
editHi
I saw that your name has appeared on the mediation cabal page.
I have now:
1. formally notified the 4 editors involved and
2. Reduced the mediation request down to a few words
Thanks
Andrew
FAC
editHi Rm2dance! I've noticed you jumping in on a number of FACs lately. We always need more reviewers, but might I suggest you familiarize yourself with the FA criteria? It seems like a lot of your comments are copy-pasted from one review to the next, and aren't always suited to the article in question - not every article needs a Legacy section, for example. Some of your more tailored comments quite frankly come across as rude. I would urge you to take more care with your reviews in future. Let me know if you've got any questions about FAC. A tag has been placed on your user page, User:Rm2dance, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be blatant advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service or person, and which is a violation of our policies regarding acceptable use of user pages: user pages are intended for active editors of Wikipedia to communicate with one another as part of the process of creating encyclopedic content, and should not be mistaken for free webhosting resources. Please read the general criteria for speedy deletion, particularly item 11, as well as the guidelines on spam, the guidelines on user pages, and, especially, our FAQ for businesses.
If you can indicate why the page is not blatant advertising, contest the deletion by clicking on the button that looks like this: which appears inside of the speedy deletion ({{db-...}}
) tag (if no such tag exists, the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate). Doing so will take you to your user talk page where you will find a pre-formatted place for you to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also edit this page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Syrthiss (talk) 14:16, 21 July 2011 (UTC)
Removing Speedy at User:Rm2dance
editWelcome to Wikipedia. It might not have been your intention, but you removed a speedy deletion tag from User:Rm2dance, a page you have created yourself. If you do not believe the page should be deleted, then you may contest the deletion by clicking on the button that says: Click here to contest this speedy deletion and appears inside the speedy deletion notice. This will allow you to make your case on the page's talk page. Administrators will look at your reasoning before deciding what to do with the page. Thank you. - SDPatrolBot (talk) 14:22, 21 July 2011 (UTC)
- and for that edit summary, I'm going to point you to WP:NPA. Don't do that again. Syrthiss (talk) 14:24, 21 July 2011 (UTC)
Removing Speedy at User:Rm2dance
editPlease do not remove speedy deletion notices from pages you have created yourself, as you did with User:Rm2dance. If you do not believe the page should be deleted, then you may contest the deletion by clicking on the button that says: Click here to contest this speedy deletion and appears inside the speedy deletion notice. This will allow you to make your case on the article's [[Talk:User:Rm2dance|talk page]]. Administrators will look at your reasoning before deciding what to do with the article. Thank you. - SDPatrolBot (talk) 14:25, 21 July 2011 (UTC)
This is your last warning; the next time you remove a speedy deletion notice from a page you have created yourself, as you did at User:Rm2dance, you may be blocked from editing without further notice. - SDPatrolBot (talk) 14:27, 21 July 2011 (UTC)
- Whilst it may not really have been spam, I felt the page fell very firmly into the using Wikipedia as a free host area. Please keep that sort of stuff on your own machine. — RHaworth (talk · contribs) 14:34, 21 July 2011 (UTC)
- It was enough of a gray area - it was certainly a huge collection of external links. Syrthiss (talk) 14:35, 21 July 2011 (UTC)
Dear Rm2dance: (1) you can talk directly to me and (2) if you'd like, we can restore your page and have it go through a full MFD discussion. I am confident that the outcome of that discussion would result in the deletion of your page or I wouldn't have tagged it in the first place. However, restoring it would give you time to grab the content and move it elsewhere as well as give you a wider audience for this (re your mediation request). If that is acceptable, feel free to reply here or on my talk page (or on RHaworth's if you feel you cannot talk to me). Really, I am not doing this to annoy you or infuriate you (and I don't have a mental health issue, as you eluded to in your edit summary). Syrthiss (talk) 15:01, 21 July 2011 (UTC)
my page is missing
edit~~actually, just forget everything. this sounds like too much trouble. i just need my resource page back so i can post it elsewhere.~~
~below was the original msg i sent to a wikiperson~
my page is missing out of nowhere and there's nothing in http://en.wiki.x.io/w/index.php?title=Special:Log/delete&page=User:Rm2dance and i can't check the history of my page? is that how it's supposed to be?
hmm.. so my page is missing randomly just today with no problems after all this time. then a random person decides to tag it because the person felt like it? is there like mediation or something for something like this?
but basically if it's too complicated or too much trouble, just nevermind, im just wondering if they have mediation
also, was there any way to protect my page? just wondering
hmm.. it says "If all else fails, try another wiki" so i'll just do that -- where is my resource page? the history for it that is. so the page took years to build up so im glad a random person decided to tag it... it's fine. i'll just put it on wikia for the time being. wikia doesn't have any problems and wikipedia also... but it depends on the random people.. well.... rm2dance (talk)
- Putting the page on Wikia is a very good idea. You will probably be left in perfect peace. I can let you have the latest state of the page if you follow these instructions or, if you create your wikia page, I can copy it directly there. "If they have mediation" - who might "they" be? We have the deletion review process but you would be unlikely to find anyone to support you. (Did it really need 16 (!) edits to tell me the above? Please continue this discussion here and not on my user_talk page. — RHaworth (talk · contribs) 15:05, 21 July 2011 (UTC)
Your recent edits
editHello. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. You could also click on the signature button located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you. --SineBot (talk) 15:10, 21 July 2011 (UTC)

Block
editWhat on earth are you doing now? Leaving the same message on apparently random users' talk pages. The only people you need to talk to at the moment are me and Syrthiss and you can do that here. There is one simple question you need to answer: do you:
- want the page restored and put through MfD as Syrthiss proposes or
- will you accept one state of the page being e-mailed to you as I suggest?
— RHaworth (talk · contribs) 15:18, 21 July 2011 (UTC)
i don't know what is MfD but just go ahead and do it so i can just move the page............gosh this is so much trouble................ just whenever the page is back, and i log back in, i'll just move it. easy-peasy~ rm2dance (talk)
Sorry, I thought Syrthiss had provided a link. MfD is miscellanea for deletion. I shall follow Syrthiss' proposal then. Please assure me that you will stop canvassing other editors, and I will remove the block. — RHaworth (talk · contribs) 15:32, 21 July 2011 (UTC)
- who is syrthiss?? sooo.... now what? when is the page going to be restored so i can move it? that's what we are trying to do fast right? ....ok so i'll just move it whenever it's done. doesn't need to be complicated lol.. i have to go eat breakfast. bye~rm2dance (talk)
"Who is Syrthiss"?!! Do you read anything that we write to you? Look above and you will see four messages signed by Syrthiss. I have now restored your user page. Please note that this is purely for you to copy it elsewhere. If I see you editing it, I am likley to delete it again. There is no need for an MfD discussion - if you tell me within the next week that you have copied it off, I can simply delete it. Incidentally - why do you need the page at all? Surely the content could be handled with your browser's bookmarks facility! — RHaworth (talk · contribs) 15:44, 21 July 2011 (UTC)
unblock so i can move my resource page
editI asked for assurance that you would not start canvassing and you have not given it. But I have unblocked you anyway. — RHaworth (talk · contribs) 16:21, 21 July 2011 (UTC)
- I will not be canvassing -- "to carefully make a thorough examination or conduct a detailed discussion." Please unblock (http://toolserver.org/~nakon/autoblockfinder.php?u=Rm2dance) me so I may move the burdensome resource page away~ Please try to be quick, the kind of quickness one has in deletion. I would like to move this awful thing away. The achievements society and humanity affords is not helpful to anyone anyway. I would like to move this trash away please. rm2dance (talk)
Speedy deletion nomination of User:Rm2dance
editIf this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on User:Rm2dance, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become an encyclopedia article. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Business for more information.
If you think that this notice was placed here in error, contest the deletion by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion," which appears inside of the speedy deletion ({{db-...}}
) tag (if no such tag exists, the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate). Doing so will take you to the talk page where you will find a pre-formatted place for you to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the the page's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the administrator userfy the page or email a copy to you. Jasper Deng (talk) 16:40, 21 July 2011 (UTC)

Contested deletion
editI still can't move the resource page away. Why am I still blocked?? --rm2dance (talk) 16:42, 21 July 2011 (UTC)
- No, you aren't blocked, trying clearing your browser cache. I don't see what you mean by "moving the resource page away". All you need to do is go to your userpage, click "Edit", and then press (on Windows) Ctrl +A (or right-click the text and click "select all"), and then press Ctrl+C (or right-click again and press copy). Then you can go to Wikia or another similar site that also uses our software, and create a page there by pasting that page's content in.Jasper Deng (talk) 16:45, 21 July 2011 (UTC)
- Concerning an autoblock, you don't need to be unblocked to copy the wikitext of your userpage. Simply click "View Source", and below the block notice is the text you want to copy and paste.Jasper Deng (talk) 16:46, 21 July 2011 (UTC)
- It didn't show "Edit" on there. Now I've been unblocked, so now I can move it awayrm2dance (talk)
- "View Source" is what I was talking about in the second comment. But I still don't understand your intent to "move it away", since the page doesn't belong anywhere on Wikipedia.Jasper Deng (talk) 16:49, 21 July 2011 (UTC)
- It's confusing but now it's finally moved. All done. rm2dance (talk)

Reported to AIV
editHi Rm2dance, this is a notice to let you know that I have reported the issue of you removing speedy deletion templates to administrators. An administrator should assess the report in a short while, and they will take any appropriate actions. Please wait for an administrator before taking any further actions yourself. Thank you, - SDPatrolBot (talk) 16:49, 21 July 2011 (UTC)
- .........I'm not sure what this bot wants. Just trying to make problems? This bot should be happy. The trash has been moved away. Smilesssssssss rm2dance (talk)
- Normally, as the creator of the page, you're not supposed to remove speedy-deletion templates from pages you create. Since you did it again by blanking your userpage, the bot reported you. I've left a note at the bot's report that it's a false positive now.Jasper Deng (talk) 16:55, 21 July 2011 (UTC)
- That is nice. We are done. Goodbye. rm2dance (talk)

Glad the Resource Page Moved
editGlad the Resource Page Moved
Firstly, page was temporary and was going to move in any event. Glad it was sooner than later. The editor at Wikia is far better anyhow -- Helpful Resources.
Secondly, the event that had occurred showed a lack of due process and/or corruption, and I'm glad to not have to deal with those problems. A few other people decide they like doing that though, so it all turns out good!~ =D
And lastly, I'm just personally overjoyed I don't have to waste my time (and my life) with any further problems. Have fun and wish you the best!~ =D
ByeBye
