Polish Speedway

Thanks for the additions to the Motorcycle speedway article. With the amount of information you have added; you might find it beneficial to move the majority to a Speedway in Poland article (like the Speedway in the United Kingdom article).

I have updated the Speedway Ekstraliga page also as there was an old page Polish Extraleague that had some information on that I've transferred across and made the old page into a redirect.

Also, if the league name is officially Ekstraliga then please do use that instead of Extraleague, it is nice to see the translation but if the Polish spelling is more widely known then we'll use that (e.g. we use Elitserien and not the english equivalent).

Lastly, thanks for moving information across from the .pl wiki and I hope you continue to help improve all Speedway articles. - Foxhill 15:54, 24 July 2007 (UTC)

Hi do you think you will be creating the article as suggested by Foxhill? It seems to be a very good idea to do so. I know that I have butted in on the section and amended some parts, and I had thought of creating an article anyway as if the UK has an article on speedway then Poland most definitely should. Hi, good work on the sandbox. I hope you don't mind but I did some work on it in my sandbox. Most of it is minor stuff. However, there were a couple of sentences which in English did not really convey the correct meaning when translated from Polish, which I have changed. Have a look here and see what you think? Hi, yes I know the site I am using is old. But I thought it was better to get some information on wikipedia and then once it is on it can be updated. Did you get a chance to look at my sandbox? I have mentioned on the Motorcycle speedway article talk page that a Speedway in Poland article is in the process of being created, but I did not know if you wanted your name mentioned or not as the creator? Hi, I have amended some of the stuff you added to the Motorcycle speedway Polish section. However, I just wanted to check what you mean by this? - "Besides, since 2003 Polish juniors won Under 21 Individual World Championship." Unfortunately in English it is not clear what is being said. Do you mean that a Polish rider has won the U21 World Championship each year since 2003? Also and I know that some editors seem to use initials a lot, however bearing in mind that other users reading an article might not understand what the initials mean, so I have taken out "WC" (which as initials in English can also mean a public toilet :)! ) and left it as World Championship so as readers who do not know a lot about speedway will know what is meant. Speedway in Poland

Hi Radzinski. You are off to such a great start on the article Speedway in Poland that it may qualify to appear on Wikipedia's Main Page under the Did you know... section. The Main Page gets about 4,000,000 hits per day and appearing on the Main Page may help bring publicity and assistance to the article. However, there is a five day from article creation window for Did you know... nominations. Before five days pass from the date the article was created and if you haven't already done so, please consider nominating the article to appear on the Main Page by posting a nomination at Did you know suggestions. Polish speedway riders Category

Please don't remove the riders from the speedway riders category when you add to your new Polish category. It is easier to find the riders in a full list. Leave them in BOTH categories please. I have written the majority of rider articles and it is easier to find them in the full list. I think the country categories are not really needed, however if you feel they are useful then please use as additional categories, not removing them from the list I have spent so long writing. Team logos

Hello. I have removed the remaining logos and the deleted logos from the Extraliga pages to try and stop them being deleted from all the articles. I have added a rationale that allows the to be used on the club pages. If you re-upload the ones already deleted, copy the rationale I have put on Image:Kronopol Zielona Gora logo.jpg.
