I like your username and the whole pufferfish theme. You should add some userboxes about yourself Wikipedia:Userboxes/Gallery =). - Knowledgekid87 (talk) 16:58, 9 September 2010 (UTC)Reply

That's so nice of you! I'll look around and see what kind of infoboxes take my fancy. Pufferfyshe (talk) 21:11, 10 September 2010 (UTC)Reply

2014 FIFA World Cup qualification (UEFA)

edit

Hi. i see you are editing 2014 FIFA World Cup qualification (UEFA) and you clearly need to read the rules on how second-placed teams are ranked. "Because one group has one team fewer than the others, matches against the last-placed team in each of the six-team groups are not included in this ranking. As a result, eight matches played by each team will count for the purposes of the second-placed table."

Therefore England matches against last placed team (San Marino) dont count so they only have six points. Please dont keep changing this. I will remove your edits if you do. If you have any questions just ask. Thank you! QED237 (talk) 22:32, 30 August 2013 (UTC)Reply

Dear QED, thank you for pointing out this mistke of mine. I will go back to my arithmetic and correct it. In return, I would request in future that you not use such language as "you clearly need to", for an honest mistake. That is officious. "You need to" makes the point. Because you asked me to ask if I had questions, I'm assuming you are a well-meaning person. I understand that different people have different standards, so I'm sorry if this seems like a strange request. 2p Pufferfyshe (talk) 22:37, 30 August 2013 (UTC)Reply

I am so sorry for my choice of words, I am having a bad night (not an excuse) and I have undone the same edits from other users a few days ago and I actually thought the same editor was back. My bad! I hope you can forgive my bad language and I promise I will try to be better. I have already restored last version of Koppapa so you dont need do undo your changes. QED237 (talk) 22:43, 30 August 2013 (UTC)Reply

Amazing -- an editorial disagreement, based on a mistake (mine), that actually ended on civil terms! Much appreciated and no offense taken. Take care, Pufferfyshe (talk) 22:45, 30 August 2013 (UTC)Reply

Yeah, not often that happens. To many times someons starts aggressive and the other person bites back. This time you were very civil in your response, despite my language, so I have you to thank for the good outcome of this discussion. Thanks! And take care you to! SAA DKR-JFK

edit

Why did you remove SAA to JFK? I have restored the source as the airline operates JNB-JFK via DKR (however, JFK-JNB route is nonstop). 68.119.73.36 (talk) 20:11, 3 November 2013 (UTC)Reply

Please excuse me for this mistake, and thank you for restoring the correct information. Pufferfyshe (talk) 22:22, 3 November 2013 (UTC)Reply
Dear Person, I have stricken that last apology (harsh! But needed) and restored my original edit. Please read the comment on the original page (DKR: destinations) to explain why. Also, please consider the logic to your own comment, above: if the airline stops at a given point only in one direction, the service is not truly a fifth freedom route. Pufferfyshe (talk) 19:45, 19 November 2013 (UTC)Reply

Actually, SAA does indeed have fifth freedom rights from DKR to JFK. Your comment stated that DKR is only a tech stop on JNB-JFK (that's not true, if it is a tech stop, then the airline cannot sell tickets on that route only). However, SAA's website does indeed have the DKR-JFK sector for sale. See the Narita Airport and the Mexico City Airport page regarding Aeromexico s flight between NRT and MEX. I have started a discussion at WT:AIRPORTS, please continue the discussion there. Thanks! Snoozlepet (talk) 02:11, 2 December 2013 (UTC)Reply

My apologies -- corrected again!! Thank you Snoozlepet for the clarification. Pufferfyshe (talk) 01:04, 4 December 2013 (UTC)Reply
