Your recent edits
editHi there. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. On many keyboards, the tilde is entered by holding the Shift key, and pressing the key with the tilde pictured. You may also click on the signature button located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your name and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you! --SineBot (talk) 17:45, 17 February 2008 (UTC)

Gaelic Loans
editYeah, I agree... on the whole it's not a very good page and looks a bit... haphazard. A few of the loans are obvious but there's a few on there which would be difficult to prove. Not sure what to do with the page. Akerbeltz (talk) 13:24, 8 April 2008 (UTC)
Talk pages
editPlease read Wikipedia:Talk pages. Wikipedia "Talk" pages are for one thing and one thing only: working out the contents of Wikipedia articles. Not for discussion of the subject of the articles, but the actual contents of them. They are not discussion boards, and anything that is not directly about the article (like your or User:Paul from Michigan's or my opinions about copyright law) is off-topic, and restoring that kind of material is counterproductive to the goals of the project. -JasonAQuest (talk) 03:38, 4 June 2008 (UTC)
Hawaiian English ... link
editI’ve reverted it because the article Hawaiian English redirects to Hawaiian Pidgin, which is a different thing. Perhaps, the best solution is to write an article about the English variety spoken in Hawaii over the redirect page, to avoid future misleading redirects. Regards. editJudging by the comments here on your talk page, you seem to have a misunderstanding of our policies on verifiability and citing sources. Please do read those policies and become familiar with them. Swayback Maru (talk) 15:27, 8 March 2010 (UTC)

Editing Scottish Gaelic
editI understand your argument, but now that there is an ongoing discussion you should not continue to revert until consensus had been reached. On a side note, WP:RETAIN does not relate to differences like this, but as to whether whole articles are written in British/American English, so that is not a valid reason to keep changing to "or". Please see the discussion on the talk page and wait before you edit again. Caledones talk softly, please 01:56, 2 March 2012 (UTC)
The article Slime Forest Adventure has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
- Software with no evidence of notability.
While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Disambiguation link notification for March 9
editHi. When you recently edited Slime Forest Adventure, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Sonic the Hedgehog (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
