Hold on, now. What's inappropriate about his name? It can't be length; compare it to unblocked User:Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrndrobwllllantysiliogogogoch, named after the town Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrndrobwllllantysiliogogogoch. It can't be the mix of Latin and English; bilingual names are not forbidden. So, then, what? -- BenTALK/HIST 05:19, 6 May 2007 (UTC)Reply
User:Eagle_101 thought it was inappropriate--I'm assuming because of the length. He told me to leave a message there after I reported it at WP:UAA. Blueboy96 14:18, 6 May 2007 (UTC)Reply
Also, that username predates our current policy on usernames, which was adopted in 2006. Since then, usernames which are too long risk being blocked.Blueboy96 15:11, 6 May 2007 (UTC)Reply

I wouldn't have said your username is inappropriate.

But linking to it from an article (as opposed to a talk page) is inappropriate. (You linked to your user page from the UM disambiguation page.) Michael Hardy 00:45, 8 May 2007 (UTC)Reply

Sorry about that Michael. I am just getting to familiarize myself with Wikipedia. I joined the Wiki Project Mythology, and am now looking for a place to post an article regarding this mythology. If you have any pointers, I would sure appreciate it. Primoris 00:58, 8 May 2007 (UTC)Reply
