Preserving information on UFC Rankings
editHello, I've noticed you've been very helping updating the rankings for various UFC competitors, but you are also deleting information that will be hard to recover in the future. If you're going to update the rank with a newer one that is lower, could you please WP:PRESERVE the older higher rank and the date? Like on Jalin Turner for example: [1] your update deleted his former #10 rank and I added it back. We now have both your update that he's dropped to #11 but we're also preserving that he got to #10 in his career. Eventually he (and everyone else) will retire from the sport, and we'll want the encyclopedia to record his peak rank. Cheers! BBQboffin (talk) 18:37, 4 July 2023 (UTC)
Please familiarize yourself with this guideline, major topics such as well known cities and countries should generally not be linked in articles. TylerBurden (talk) 17:50, 25 September 2023 (UTC)
- cities are linked in literally every single mma record under the 'location' column, and i never liked a country PowrotKrola (talk) 08:10, 26 September 2023 (UTC)
- London is one of the most well known cities in the world, there is no need to link it. TylerBurden (talk) 19:50, 28 September 2023 (UTC)
- major cities are linked in every single mma record, so take your “guideline” somewhere else :) PowrotKrola (talk) 18:09, 29 September 2023 (UTC)
- Maybe because editors go around and edit against the MOS, but that is the established practice. Going against the established practice is generally considered disruptive, so I will continue reverting these overlinks when they are added and report the issue if needed. TylerBurden (talk) 13:10, 1 October 2023 (UTC)
- lol report the issue? This is a weird thing to snitch on lmao, good luck with your cause ig PowrotKrola (talk) 13:57, 1 October 2023 (UTC)
- Like I said it's a guideline which is the accepted standard of Wikipedia, your "every mma record has it" is backed by nothing such, in addition you're violating WP:CIVIL. TylerBurden (talk) 20:00, 2 October 2023 (UTC)
- If it bothers you so much then stop complaining about it on my page and start removing all the links to cities on every single mma record on Wikipedia, good luck! PowrotKrola (talk) 06:47, 3 October 2023 (UTC)
- It would be better to deal with the actual issue which is the editors adding them in the first place, and that double down despite being informed about the WP:MOS. TylerBurden (talk) 18:59, 3 October 2023 (UTC)

editPlease do not remove content or templates from pages on Wikipedia, as you did at Jon Jones, without giving a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. Your content removal does not appear to be constructive and has been reverted. If you only meant to make a test edit, please use your sandbox for that. Thank you. - Sorry, I didn’t mean to publish that edit, my mistake PowrotKrola (talk) 11:27, 1 October 2023 (UTC)

Disambiguation link notification for February 13
editHi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Julio Cesar (mixed martial artist), you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Brusque. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)
It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, --DPL bot (talk) 18:05, 13 February 2024 (UTC)

editHello. Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. I noticed that one or more recent edit(s) you made did not have an edit summary. You can use the edit summary field to explain your reasoning for an edit, or to provide a description of what the edit changes. Summaries save time for other editors and reduce the chances that your edit will be misunderstood. For some edits, an adequate summary may be quite brief.
The edit summary field looks like this:
Edit summary (Briefly describe your changes)
Please provide an edit summary for every edit you make. With a Wikipedia account you can give yourself a reminder to add an edit summary by setting Preferences → Editing → Prompt me when entering a blank edit summary, and then click the "Save" button. Thanks! Nswix (talk) 21:43, 19 February 2024 (UTC)

editHello, I'm Jamie Eilat. I noticed that you recently removed all content from Nothing. Please do not do this. Blank pages are harmful to Wikipedia because they have a tendency to confuse readers. As a rule, if you discover a duplicate article, please redirect it to an appropriate existing page. If a page has been vandalised, please revert it to the last legitimate version. If you feel that the content of a page is inappropriate, please edit the page and replace it with appropriate content. If you believe there is no hope for the page, please see the deletion policy for how to proceed. If this was a mistake, don't worry; the removed content has been restored. If you wish to experiment, please use your sandbox. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. — Jamie Eilat (talk) 22:57, 8 May 2024 (UTC)
Whack! You've been whacked with a wet trout. Don't take this too seriously. Someone just wants to let you know you did something silly. |
