Image copyright problem with Image:Alma.jpg

Thanks for uploading Image:Alma.jpg. However, the image may soon be deleted unless we can determine the copyright holder and copyright status. The Wikimedia Foundation is very careful about the images included in Wikipedia because of copyright law (see Wikipedia's Copyright policy).

The copyright holder is usually the creator, the creator's employer, or the last person who was transferred ownership rights. Copyright information on images is signified using copyright templates. The three basic license types on Wikipedia are open content, public domain, and fair use. Find the appropriate template in Wikipedia:Image copyright tags and place it on the image page like this: {{TemplateName}}.

Please signify the copyright information on any other images you have uploaded or will upload. Remember that images without this important information can be deleted by an administrator. Manipogo

I noticed that the changes you made to the Manipogo page was mostly copied directly from the link you added to the page. Text that you add to Wikipedia must be licensed under the GFDL. Which means that any text you see on a webpage is likely not suitable to cut-and-paste into Wikipedia as most webpages (unless otherwise stated) are covered by copyright and not licensed under the GFDL or compatible license. Changing one word out of every ten doesn't let you get around copyright. You have to compeltely rewrite the whole thing in your own words. Try writing without looking at the page you are copying from at all. Qutezuce 05:13, 17 February 2006 (UTC)

Dr. Mario Character

Sorry, but I had to redirect Dr. Mario Character to Mario. Dr. Mario is Mario, and thusly should be in the Mario article. - A Link to the Past (talk) 00:05, 1 March 2006 (UTC)

Just because he has a Doctor label does not mean that he warrants his own article. Dr. Mario and Mario are the same people. Just like Wario in WarioWare, Inc. is no different from Wario in Wario Land. - A Link to the Past (talk) 00:53, 1 March 2006 (UTC)

And that is not the worst example either? Young Link = Link, yet Young Link is treated as a separate character. And we all know they aren't. Dr. Mario = Mario with a PhD. That would work, had Baby Mario been its own article. It's not. Baby Mario, Dr. Mario and Mario are the exact same people. They are not different people who happen to share the name Mario, alternate versions of Mario or clones of Mario. Baby Mario is Mario, Dr. Mario is Mario, Mario is Mario. The manual of Dr. Mario states that Dr. Mario is Mario, who decided to become a doctor to cure the common cold. - A Link to the Past (talk) 01:55, 1 March 2006 (UTC)
