We need the subjects of biographies to be fully-notable, not "almost notable", to be accepted into the mainspace. Smaller Instagram influencers do not meet the notability criteria required for inclusion on Wikipedia. Waddles 🗩 🖉 15:40, 16 December 2024 (UTC)

We don't "look for followers". There are plenty of people who have articles who have never had any sort of social media or fan following and there are many people in the world who have large fan followings but no article on Wikipedia. We allow content based on our notability guidelines and if the article is well-sourced. You draft's subject did not meet those guidelines and the only source was an unsecure link. Remember that Wikipedia is an encyclopedia, not a platform for promotion. EverybodyWiki and Fandom can instead be used for miscellanea that is deemed promotional or not notable on Wikipedia. Writing about yourself

You are welcome to contribute to Wikipedia, but it is not a social media site for people to write about themselves. It is a quite different sort of site, a project to build an encyclopedia, so it is selective about subjects for articles. Writing about oneself is strongly discouraged, for reasons explained at Wikipedia is not about YOU and Wikipedia:Autobiography.

Wikipedia user pages are not like those at social media sites. Their use is explained at WP:NOTWEBHOST:

"Wikipedians have individual user pages, but they should be used primarily to present information relevant to work on the encyclopedia. Limited autobiographical information is allowed, but user pages do not serve as personal webpages, blogs, or repositories for large amounts of material irrelevant to collaborating on Wikipedia. If you want to post your résumé or make a personal webpage, please use one of the many free providers on the Internet or any hosting included with your Internet service provider. The focus of user pages should not be social networking or amusement, but rather providing a foundation for effective collaboration. Humorous pages that refer to Wikipedia in some way may be created in an appropriate namespace. Personal web pages are often speedily deleted under criterion U5. Wikipedia articles use formal English and are not written in Internet posting style."

@Jimfbleak {{unblock|reason= i am not here for advertising or promotions. i think wikipidea is not interested in updating information on india based company and organization. i was just sharing information which is useful to people as well as many establishments. so i am not here advertising any agency or anything else. i as just sharing information as per wikipidea guidelines. i wish wikipidea understand this aspect otherwise it will seems like they are just approving pages on the basis of nepotism or on the basis of donations

How absurdly desperate. Ridiculous. You can't buy an article on Wikipedia. Nepotism? 14,000,000 people have edited Wikipedia. Only a handful of them are spammers. • I shan't unmangle your unblock request as it is wholly inadequate. Due to your WP:conflict of interest and the promotional nature of your edits, I cannot see unblocking you to write about your company or any other subject with which you have a relationship.
