editHello, NiAxolotl. Thank you for your work on Konaande Kongh. User:Netherzone, while examining this page as a part of our page curation process, had the following comments:
Thanks for creating this article on an historical indigenous village. Better reference links are available on Google Books (by that I mean that the contents are immediately verifiable) if you or other editors have the time to improve the refs.

Thank you for your well-researched diligence in adding information to multiple articles regarding the tragic results of European colonial clashes with native peoples in the New World. You are working in an underrepresented area, and the wiki is greatly improved thereby. Binksternet (talk) 19:20, 7 January 2023 (UTC) |
- Seconded. For years, a lot of this stuff has been stubs and otherwise insufficient. Keep up the good work! RadioactiveBoulevardier (talk) 01:18, 18 January 2023 (UTC)

- yes, it's the direct quotes on the page. these can be shortened/paraphrased. i'll limit direct quotes more in the future wherever possible to prevent this issue. thank you! NiAxolotl (talk) 18:47, 10 January 2023 (UTC)
- Thank you! my policy is when I write an article I use this tool https://copyvios.toolforge.org/ in Draftspace. I have a rule of thumb of about 10-5% which would meet fair use (Ie it starts flagging statements of fact as copyright at that low level (ie if I wrote "Barack Obama was born in Hawaii". I do like your stuff and it is good, but the copyright stuff gets the bots angry. Ask me about air Cryogenic air (talk) 18:56, 10 January 2023 (UTC)
- thank you for this advice! I will do my best to implement it in the future. :) NiAxolotl (talk) 18:59, 10 January 2023 (UTC)

You're invited to join WikiProject California!
editHi! I've noticed some of your contributions on California-related articles and think it shows that you're exactly the kind of editor we need at WikiProject California. Please consider this your personal invitation to join us; if you're interested, joining is as simple as adding yourself to . The project currently tracks 73,548 California-related articles on English Wikipedia, with the long-term goal of getting them all awarded the Good Article badge or better (we've got 861 there so far!), and we'd be truly grateful for any assistance, large or small, you are able to lend. |

P.S. Did I mention we're in charge of the California portal too? Have any ideas on how it could be better? We're all ears. | ||

FYI re map
editI'm working on some ranchos stuff and wanted to give you a heads up that "early Indian village site" is noted in the top right of this 1922ish map of Pomona.
File:Map of Rancho San Jose and Pomona created after 1922.jpg
Possibly useful for illustrating a current or future article on Indigenous settlements in that area? Thanks for all you do. jengod (talk) 20:29, 28 March 2023 (UTC)
- Thank you! I have been on a break, but I just added this info to the Claremont page's history section and to the village of Torojoatngna. Thanks again! :) NiAxolotl (talk) 21:53, 19 April 2023 (UTC)
Shiishongna moved to draftspace
editAn article you recently created, Shiishongna, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. The specific issue is none of the sources are significant coverage of the subject. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:
" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. ― Blaze WolfTalkBlaze Wolf#6545 17:24, 30 April 2023 (UTC)

If the page has already been deleted, you can request it be undeleted so you can continue working on it.
