Speedy deletion nomination of List of longest birthday celebration

edit

Hello NOTICE501,

Welcome to Wikipedia! I edit here too, under the username Alexandermcnabb, and I thank you for your contributions.

I wanted to let you know, however, that I have tagged an article that you started, List of longest birthday celebration for deletion, because it appears to be about something that you or someone you know personally invented, coined, or discovered, and it does not indicate how or why the subject is important and/or recognized enough to be included in an encyclopedia.

If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion but please don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top. If the page is already deleted by the time you come across this message and you wish to retrieve the deleted material, please contact the deleting administrator.

For any further query, please leave a comment here and prepend it with {{Re|Alexandermcnabb}}. And, don't forget to sign your reply with ~~~~ . Thanks!

Enorecords LLC moved to draftspace

An article you recently created, Enorecords LLC, does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. Undisclosed Paid Editing Warning

edit

Hello NOTICE501. The nature of your edits gives the impression you have an undisclosed financial stake in promoting a topic, but you have not complied with Wikipedia's mandatory paid editing disclosure requirements. Paid advocacy is a category of conflict of interest (COI) editing that involves being compensated by a person, group, company or organization to use Wikipedia to promote their interests. Undisclosed paid advocacy is prohibited by our policies on neutral point of view and what Wikipedia is not, and is an especially serious type of COI; the Wikimedia Foundation regards it as a "black hat" practice akin to black-hat search-engine optimization.

Paid advocates are very strongly discouraged from direct article editing, and should instead propose changes on the talk page of the article in question if an article exists. If the article does not exist, paid advocates are extremely strongly discouraged from attempting to write an article at all. At best, any proposed article creation should be submitted through the articles for creation process, rather than directly.

Regardless, if you are receiving or expect to receive compensation for your edits, broadly construed, you are required by the Wikimedia Terms of Use to disclose your employer, client and affiliation. You can post such a mandatory disclosure to your user page at User:NOTICE501. The template {{Paid}} can be used for this purpose – e.g. in the form: {{paid|user=NOTICE501|employer=InsertName|client=InsertName}}. If I am mistaken – you are not being directly or indirectly compensated for your edits – please state that in response to this message. Otherwise, please provide the required disclosure. In either case, do not edit further until you answer this message. Celestina007 (talk) 08:56, 1 March 2021 (UTC)Reply

Hello.

edit

If I am being honest, I suspect you have engaged in undisclosed paid editing, but that’s irrelevant now(if you are willing to change) However, please do not take this question I’m about to ask you as an accusatory one or that I’m ABF. But sincerely speaking, have you ever had off wiki interactions with Yoyo Ovi? It seems the subject of the article joined the project appropriately 13 days after the article was created by you, and went straight to her article & commenced editing there which would imply she was aware that the article would be created/was created. Last I checked, it took about three months for an article which hadn’t been reviewed to be automatically indexed. So how exactly she knew before hand that the article would be created is what confounds me. Because hypothetically speaking even if she randomly decided to do a google search, the Wikipedia article would definitely not have popped up since it wouldn’t have been indexed at that point in time. so like i said, how she knew the article was created/would be created & how she knew exactly where to go to find her article is something i feel you may be able to shed some light on, Did you have such conversations with her? Celestina007 (talk) 18:40, 1 March 2021 (UTC)Reply

Celestina007 Sincerely, i haven't meet the singer before, and nothing like paid article in all i wrote. i will appreciate more if you can reach out to the Singers in anyway or their company's website to ask. The only Nigeria news sources, i use in writing articles, are entertainment news from Leadership newspaper, Vanguard, Punch, Jaguda, Obaland Magazine, Linda Ikeji etc. Probably they coincidentally saw it online. I just google Yoyo Ovi now, it popped up. I don't have any contact with her. Today i saw a non registered User name Yoyo Ovi editing an article i created, i reverted the edit, I'm sure someone was about writing it before i did. We haven't anything in common, also i don't have her contact personally, thanks. NOTICE501 (talk) 20:00, 1 March 2021 (UTC)Reply
I think I should start by saying, there weren’t any mentions of her in the aforementioned sources and whilst you attempt to convince me, it rubs off as obfuscation. I honestly do not believe you are being sincere but at this juncture I can’t act any further than I already have. Celestina007 (talk) 19:47, 1 March 2021 (UTC)Reply
I feel dissapointed in this conversation. Your mind told you i collected money or UPE, unfortunately that was wrong. I am a God fearing Christian, i don't have any reason or so ever to lie, because you didn't insult me or pointed a gun at me. I never said Yoyo Ovi, the singer had conversation with me outside wiki. Probably her fans edited the article i created, if she knows other editors i can't tell. Why won't you believe all i have said? Prove me wrong, thanks. Potential Conflict of Interest

edit

What’s your fixation on Draft:Winning Jah? & why do you keep creating non notable articles on musicians and record labels which always end up being deleted via AFD? If you are having trouble understanding notability & how we roughly gauge, why don’t you start with understanding it first. Furthermore, if you are relatively close to any of your articles subject it’s a great idea not to edit them further and moving forward not to even create COI articles at all. Celestina007 (talk) 20:48, 25 March 2021 (UTC)Reply

NO Conflict of Interest

edit

Celestina007 Because i dislike mistakes, i simply notified you as an experienced editor to control the link i saw online. This has nothing to do with fixation or COI. I felt it could help. Do you mean i shouldn't write or add good sources to articles i started? I feel embarassed severally, i felt we are volunteers and our aim is to make Wikipedia a better Platform to researchers. But sincerely, i am afraid from the way you replied to my comment, i haven't written about non notable musicians or record label, i previously wrote about Enorecords LLC, and the label has notable artists with album releases and songs that has charted on digital platforms like Itunes, Deezer and more. I will never be part of Wikipedia touts or paid editors, i am expecting to receive awards from editing wikipedia articles like other veteran editors, that is why i'm trying my best to write more good articles. I'm not in anyway related to any of them, i only write when i have free hours from personal or family affairs like other editors.NOTICE501 (talk) 22:06, 25 March 2021 (UTC)Reply

TheBirdsShedTears (talk) 06:39, 2 August 2021 (UTC)Reply

See #Draft:Daddy Rich Iyasere and Draft:Richard Iyasere
  1. Winning Jah (Nigeria King of Reggae), Winning Jah, and Draft:Enorecords LLC (see also AfD discussion). You are already aware that AfD deleted article is a community based decision. So why are you repeatedly creating duplicate draft and those that has been recently deleted via AfD? It appears you are extensively creating articles for Winning Jah and his company as well as his associates. Please do not make further edits until you don't reply to this message.

Look at Austine Igbinosa. It has only one single source. You must disclose paid editing in case you are doing paid editing. TheBirdsShedTears (talk) 07:11, 2 August 2021 (UTC)Reply

Responding to August 2021 - I'm not being directly or indirectly paid or compensated for my edits

edit

Hello TheBirdsShedTears.I have read your comments and understood why you have contested my sincere and volontarily contributed articles on en.wikipedia. The nature of my edits shouldn't give anyone the impression of an undisclosed financial stake in promoting a topic, i have complied with Wikipedia's policy of not writing paid or sponsored articles (COI) or (UPE).

Reading your comments were you forcefully asked me to declare paid, when articles weren't paid for by any Brand, celebrity or company' article to be created. This attitude of COI or UPE accuse is becoming too alarming on en.wikipedia by some veteran editors. I personaly, will describe this repeated accuse of COI or UPE scandals as abuse of administrative power on En Wikipedia. That being said, firstly let's take a look at Austine Igbinosa's article that was created by me.You also stated that i only used one single source.

Austine Igbinosa is a popular African footballer, probably you have also heard or meet with him. His article, like others that i created weren't COI or UPE articles. I'm not his relative or fan but i love football as a sport. Over 300 articles about European footballers were also written with one source and accepted on En Wikipedia, why is Austine Igbinosa's brief article now becoming an issue of suspicious paid edit?. An example of footballer's articles similar to that of Austine Igbinosa with same one source link is Tomasz Szewczuk created by master editor like User:Jogurney but wasn't challenged in any way by en.wikipedia administrators. Other one sourced articles are Arkadiusz Bąk, Henryk Apostel, Kazimierz Buda, Arkadiusz Czarnecki, Stefan Machaj and many more.

Secondly, let's look at some duplicate draft article like Draft:Daddy Rich Iyasere and Draft:Richard Iyasere. Draft:Richard Iyasere, wasn't created or duplicated deliberately. I was contemplating on what should be the article's title, before i finally concluded writing it as Richard Iyasere. My only challenge was how to delete Draft:Daddy Rich Iyasere's article which i forgot to make a request for (Proposed deletion (PROD), i would like to delete it via (Proposed deletion (PROD) . In addition to your notice about COI and UPE pasted in most articles that i started was so embarassing to me , i'm a kind and Wikipedia law abiding upoming editor, who already understands that Wikipedia is not for promotions or private TV house, I don't merit this scandals or threats. I don't know the subjects in person, i am not connected directly or indirectly and this whole articles weren't paid edits.

Thirdly, Winning Jah's and his record label Enorecords LLC article are't paid edits, I also read this deletion Winning Jah (Nigeria King of Reggae), and AfD discussion) now. Enorecords LLc record label owned by Winning Jah is very notable, if popular artists such as Evi Edna Ogholi, Veronica Rudian are singned to the company with album releases with ITUNES chart positions. Kora Award winner King Wadada, Carol Jiani also resulted managed by Enorecords LLC in the passed.[3] An example of similar article is Faze_(musician), since 2016, as popular as he is, no master editor is willing to edit it, i am interested in editing important celebrities like Winning Jah, Don Jazzy, Faze and others with good reliable articles online, even when i'm not expecting compensation of any kind from them . Winning Jah's platinum albums and Evi Edna Ogholi Albums, like Peace and Love, that i created were also deleted. I wrote them much better with high scores on Itune Charts, sales units from reliable Newspapers yet got deleted, but a professional editor wrote this poorly sourced article [[1]] yet it wasn't contested.

Conclusion

edit

My aim is to receive Wikipedia awards and be known for good article creator on English wikipedia. I've not been directly or indirectly paid or compensated for my edits. Kindly do me a favour by taking those paid notice off. My character on creating and editing wikipedia articles at free time are based on my hate to fail mentality, i normally accept corrections also repeating a class than failing or abandoning school exams. Thanks NOTICE501 (talk) 09:23, 3 August 2021 (UTC)Reply

Proposed deletion of African Dirndl

edit

The article African Dirndl has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

This article describes a recent (2019) adaptation of the traditional Dirndl design, not a distinct design. Information from this page has been included within the Dirndl article > Adaptations.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Mfawa Omini Abam moved to draftspace

edit

An article you recently created, Mfawa Omini Abam, is not suitable as written to remain published.
