Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, your addition of one or more external links to the page Hanuman Chalisa has been reverted.
Your edit here was reverted by an automated bot that attempts to remove links which are discouraged per our external links guideline from Wikipedia. The external link you added or changed is on my list of links to remove and probably shouldn't be included in Wikipedia. I removed the following link(s): http://hanumanchalisa-1.blogspot.com/. If the external link you inserted or changed was to a blog, forum, free web hosting service, or similar site, then please check the information on the external site thoroughly. Note that such sites should probably not be linked to if they contain information that is in violation of the creator's copyright (see Linking to copyrighted works), or they are not written by a recognised, reliable source. Linking to sites that you are involved with is also strongly discouraged (see conflict of interest).
If you were trying to insert an external link that does comply with our policies and guidelines, then please accept my creator's apologies and feel free to undo the bot's revert. However, if the link does not comply with our policies and guidelines, but your edit included other, constructive, changes to the article, feel free to make those changes again without re-adding the link. Please read Wikipedia's external links guideline for more information, and consult my list of frequently-reverted sites. For more information about me, see my FAQ page.   Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute to the encyclopedia, one or more of the external links you added to the page Hanuman Chalisa do not comply with our guidelines for external links and have been removed. Wikipedia is not a collection of links; nor should it be used as a platform for advertising or promotion, and doing so is contrary to the goals of this project. Because Wikipedia uses nofollow tags, external links do not alter search engine rankings. If you feel the link should be added to the article, please discuss it on the article's talk page before reinserting it. Please take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia.

Please do not add inappropriate external links to Wikipedia, as you did to Ganesh Chalisa. Wikipedia is not a collection of links, nor should it be used for advertising or promotion. Inappropriate links include (but are not limited to) links to personal web sites, links to web sites with which you are affiliated, and links that attract visitors to a web site or promote a product. See the external links guideline and spam guideline for further explanations. Because Wikipedia uses the nofollow attribute value, its external links are disregarded by most search engines. If you feel the link should be added to the article, please discuss it on the article's talk page rather than re-adding it.

Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, you may not know that Wikipedia has a Manual of Style that should be followed to maintain a consistent, encyclopedic appearance. Using different styles throughout the encyclopedia, as you did in Ganesh Chalisa, makes it harder to read. Please take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. WikiDao(talk) 06:15, 3 October 2010 (UTC)Reply

Please do not remove maintenance tags from the article, or continue editing it without regard for the issues raised on the talk page and in the template headers. This article is unencyclopedic as it stands. If it remains that way, or becomes worse, it may be nominated for deletion. Please discuss your intentions for the article on its talk page before continuing to edit it in the way you have been. Regards, WikiDao(talk) 06:18, 3 October 2010 (UTC)Reply

This is the final warning that you will receive regarding your disruptive edits, such as this edit you made to Ganesh Chalisa. If you vandalize Wikipedia again, you will be blocked from editing without further notice. — SpikeToronto 06:29, 3 October 2010 (UTC)Reply

(munnanmisra (talk) 14:19, 3 October 2010 (UTC))I am not trying to vandalize but rectify a mistake that has been made by me when I initially made this posting. I have put the Hanuman Chalisa at 2.1, 2.2, 2.3 and 3 instead of the Ganesh Chalisa. Every time I try to rectify my mistake it is being reverted back. After your warning I do not even know if I should try to do the same again or not. Please help and let me know what I should do. Thanks. MunnanmisraReply

(munnanmisra (talk) 14:34, 3 October 2010 (UTC)) Is it possible for me to rewrite the entire page?Reply

Ganesh Chalisa

edit

I have nominated the Ganesh Chalisa article for deletion per your request so that you may start over from scratch. When you do so, please be sure to follow appropriate wikipedia guidelines (please see WP:YFA, and note that it recommends "creating the article first in your user space" until you get the hang of it. Let me know if you need any help, and see the links at the top of this page for help and information, too. Regards, WikiDao(talk) 17:06, 3 October 2010 (UTC)Reply

I have copied the current content of the article into your userspace: User:Munnanmisra/Ganesh chalisa. You should be able to work it up there without causing undue confusion of and obstruction by us vandal patrollers. ;) Thanks for your contributions, and happy editing! :) WikiDao(talk) 18:51, 3 October 2010 (UTC)Reply

On the other hand, an administrator has decided not to delete the article and has offered to help work on it instead. Regards, WikiDao(talk) 19:03, 3 October 2010 (UTC)Reply

I'm sorry, there was some confusion here - two of us were trying to help in different ways. I have deleted the "userfied" copy that Wikidao made for you, because I do not think it is necessary to delete the copy in the main encyclopedia space. What is necessary, and what I have done, is to remove the extended text, both from that article and from Hanuman Chalisa. Full text like that is not suitable for an encyclopedia article - Wikisource is the place for that sort of material, and indeed it is already there, and linked to from the articles. That is the right way to treat these - see, for example, the treatment of the Christian hymn Christ the Lord Is Risen Today, where there is a Wikipedia article about the hymn, but the text is on Wikisource. This is explained at WP:NOFULLTEXT and WP:NOTREPOSITORY. Also, I understand that the English translation is your own work: I believe that is acceptable under Wikisource's rules, but Wikipedia does not publish original work.
If you have any questions about this, please write them below here - I will watch this page. You will find good general advice about article writing at WP:Your first article. Regards, JohnCD (talk) 19:39, 3 October 2010 (UTC)Reply

Speedy deletion nomination of K.L. Misra

edit

A tag has been placed on K.L. Misra requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be a clear copyright infringement. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words.

If the external website belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text — which means allowing other people to modify it — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. If you are not the owner of the external website but have permission from that owner, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission. You might want to look at Wikipedia's policies and guidelines for more details, or ask a question here.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag - if no such tag exists then the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate and adding a hangon tag is unnecessary), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. ttonyb (talk) 04:59, 7 October 2010 (UTC)Reply

K.L. Misra

edit

Your addition to K.L. Misra has been removed, as it appears to have added copyrighted material to Wikipedia without permission from the copyright holder. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other websites or printed material; such additions will be deleted. You may use external websites or publications as a source of information, but not as a source of article content such as sentences or images. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing. ttonyb (talk) 05:03, 7 October 2010 (UTC)Reply

(munnanmisra (talk) 08:17, 7 October 2010 (UTC))I had started writing this page which has been removed as it has been assumed that it was a case of copyright violation from http://klmisra.blogspot.com/. Since that article has been written by me about Pt. K.L. Misra and I operate that blog (http://klmisra.blogspot.com/), I fail to understand how can it be a possible case of copyright violation. Further Pt. K.L. Misra has expired in 1975. If it is acceptable I would appreciate if the speedy deletion could be undone. Thanks.Reply
