Some of the suggestions that can be made on this article, After-school activity, are simple grammar errors. I found two sentences that were lacking a word in particular; by adding those words into the article, it creates a more clear statement. The majority of the facts stated in this article had a reference attached. However, looking into the reference section, I found about four sources that seemed reliable; the rest were not scholarly journals. Everything in the article seems reliable. This is the topic that I am researching for my paper, so many times I caught myself agreeing because the idea was similar to some I found in my scholarly journals. I do not believe the article is biased because it did not contribute any emotion from the writer or specific arguments; it clearly stated facts. However, I did find that when comparing different countries in the world that engage in after-school programs, like the U.S, India, and The United Kingdom, the author primarily focused on The United States and did not specify as much in the other countries. I would like to have seen other facts on how after-school programs are different around the world.
