Welcome!
editHello, Madssnake, and welcome to Wikipedia! My name is Ian and I work with Wiki Education; I help support students who are editing as part of a class assignment.
I hope you enjoy editing here. If you haven't already done so, please check out the student training library, which introduces you to editing and Wikipedia's core principles. You may also want to check out the Teahouse, a community of Wikipedia editors dedicated to helping new users. Below are some resources to help you get started editing.

Citations are not minor edits
editHi Madssnake! I noticed that you recently marked an edit as minor that may not have been. "Minor edit" has a very specific definition on Wikipedia – it refers only to superficial edits that could never be the subject of a dispute, such as typo corrections or reverting obvious vandalism. Any edit that changes the meaning of an article is not a minor edit, even if it only concerns a single word. Please see Help:Minor edit for more information. Thank you. —J. M. editVerification issues
editI've reverted two citations you recently added ([1], [2]). I'm not sure what's going on here but these papers do not, at least from what I can tell from the abstracts, seem to relate directly to the material where you inserted the citation. I'm not sure if this is WP:REFSPAM but we're quite aware that such campaigns, large and small, exist. Please be careful. ~Kvng (talk) 14:39, 21 September 2022 (UTC)
@Kvng: - Thanks for the heads up - I usually read the full academic article (I won't cite it if I don't have access to the article) and if there's content from the article and a sentence in the Wikipedia article that it could back up, then I cite it. I'll be more careful in making sure the articles match the material more. Madssnake (talk) 15:42, 21 September 2022 (UTC)
ArbCom 2022 Elections voter message
editHello! Voting in the 2022 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23:59 (UTC) on Monday, 12 December 2022. All eligible users are allowed to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.
