Autobiographies
editHello, and welcome to Wikipedia. We appreciate your contributions; however, it appears you may have written a Wikipedia article about yourself, at Draft:Martin Stranka. Creating an autobiography is strongly discouraged – please see our guideline on writing autobiographies. If you create such an article, it may be deleted. If what you have done in life is genuinely notable and can be verified according to our policy for articles about living people, someone else will probably create an article about you sooner or later (see Wikipedians with articles). If you wish to add to or change an existing article about yourself, you are welcome to propose the changes by visiting the article's talk page. Please understand that this is an encyclopedia and not a personal web space or social networking site. If your article has already been deleted, please see: Why was the page I created deleted?, and if you feel the deletion was an error, please discuss this with the deleting administrator. Thank you. --Hammersoft (talk) 22:45, 24 May 2019 (UTC)
To whom it may concern. I would like to clarify a few things in regards to Martin Stranka Wikipedia page. It is not an autobiography. I wrote the article. My name is Michala and I also wrote the Czech version of the article here:
https://cs.wiki.x.io/wiki/Martin_Stranka
I am Mr photographer's assistant. And I think his work is worth noting. And since Martin Stranka celebrates vast success not only in the Czech Republic but also worldwide, being awarded many international awards for his works already. I believed that information and insight into his work should be available on Wikipedia in the English language as well. I hope this proves helpful and the article can be published. If you should have any further questions, please do not hesitate to contact me. Best regards, Michala zaludova.michala@gmail.com
- My conclusion was drawn solely on the name of this account vs. the name of the draft article you created. Given what you have said, I withdraw my comments about the draft. However, I would ask that you please read our conflict of interest guideline. Also, if you are being paid in any manner for conducting this work, you must read and follow the Wikipedia:Paid-contribution disclosure policy. If I can help you, please let me know. Thanks, --Hammersoft (talk) 21:57, 25 May 2019 (UTC)
- Hello, thank you for all your help and time. But I have not been paid in any way at all to create this page. I believe this is not a subject to Paid-contribution disclosure. Also, This is solemnly my initiative. As I have written above. I believe, that Mr Stranka's work should be available to English speakers too. For he has been exhibiting, winning major international awards and contributing with his art internationally for years now.
If there is anything further you may need to publish the page. I will provide any statement necessary. I hope this has clarified the rest of the questions and that the page can now be made public. Many thanks for your guidance and support. I appreciate it very much. Michala
Please read WP:COI. You are still related to the subject as assistant. AngusWOOF (bark • sniff) 17:34, 27 May 2019 (UTC)
